If music be the food of love then...

I spent last night at a family party. Wasn't a terribly thrilling event but had a bit of fun dancing with my friends and sisters.

My son was at this event too, the band started playing a song, 'Working Class Hero' - John Lennon I leaned over to my son and said

" I used to play that song all the time when I was pregnant on you" his friends started grinning.

My son said " thats right I was concieved to the Album Imagine"

I was suprised he had remembered as I had told him this many years ago. One of his mates then said "its no wonder your a hippy"...

My son smiled and said " count your lucky stars it wasn't the Bay city Rollers"..

So any special song, album, piece of music that strikes a cord with you?

Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb for days like today when its all on top of me, Boston - More Than A Feeling for good, light, happy days and Wagners Ride of the Valkyries (and the rest of the Ring cycle) for monster work sessions.

Good post, Shar
