I could use quiet time, but alas no jail time

Well, I am not in jail, so either I didn't follow yesterday's feeling to lash out at the nearest stupid person with a large blunt object till he/she stopped twitching...or...no body = no crime

OK, onto bigger and better things. I'm starting to work out who the next character in my John Doe story is that I'm going to introduce. My problem is that I don't know if I want to keep up the pace to the story or use the next installment as a filler for background and plot growth. The problem is that the next character isn't active. If something starts happening around this character, then it will be to this character (good or bad).

Every character has it's description, personality, and gimmick. The gimmick makes the character interesting. This new character is supposed to have a bunch of them. Now the hard part is introducing all these quirks and gimmicks, getting the readers to fall in love with this character, with out overshadowing the main character John Doe.

So far the only character that is supposed to overshadow John Doe, is the mysterious one, his Lady Opponent, the one to keep him and you guessing.

Oh well, I'll figure it out. Problem one: interesting plot and background filler or keep up the pace. Problem two: how to give the perfect intro to a new character.

Not to worry though, I'll work it out.
