Weekend Trips

Do you enjoy week trips as I?

Whether visiting family or friends, the getaways have been necessary and refreshing to counter stress from work. Trips have included a variety of activities, as I have been opened to anything.
But this blog is less about where I've been and more on where I go next.

The next trip is due anytime in October. I have wanted to spend time in the Nashville vacinity so I think this will be my next visit. What will I do there? Who knows. Leaving it open but I would enjoy touristy activities, bar hop, eat well. Maybe even learn to do the country two-step.

Here's a thought, would anyone be interested in joining me? Could be a lot of fun to meet a group of like minded individuals/couples for a weekend of pleasuring all the senses.

So what do you think?

Hey there, thanks for expressing interest in a Tennessee run. I definately want to go to Nashville. Checking out what's going on so I can determine which weekend. How flexible are you? Have you been there before? This should be a lot of fun. Any others out there who want to join us?

Well Nashville was fun. Really, really fun.....
I left kinda late, llam due to not feeling my best. Allergies. But once I arrived, checked into room, I took a two hour nap. Once I woke up and showered and dressed for my date I was feeling very good, and sexy.

My date arrives. Very nice. An attractive gentleman to spend the evening with in Nashville. What a night!

Dinner was fabulous. I highly recommend the restaurant, Tin Angel, on West End. The food, drinks, atmosphere, service, company-the best.

After dinner we left for downtown. Immediately we spot Tootsie, a honky tonk I heard about. It was packed. Everybody was pressed against every body. The band was perched right in front of us. It wasn't easy to truely enjoy the spot but it was fun observing the party.

We left Tootsie, and walked into a souvenir shop. My goodness, how many ways can you do Elvis? My favorite was the Elvis the Fortune Teller. Hey we couldn't pass it up, only 50 cents. I left with a couple of trinkets, thanks to my date, JK.

More walking, taking in the sights and sounds. Live music everywhere. But we decided to take a 20 minute carriage ride. Can you say ROMANTIC! The carriage took us by the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Minnie Pearl was outside at the time. The place was jumping to the tune of Wild Cherry's "Play that Funky Music, White Boy". Interesting.

So the ride came to an end and a good thing because we noticed that the horse was walking strangely. Maybe they should think of retiring it. We were almost sideswiped by a couple of cars. Whew!

We continue our stroll, soaking in the energy happening around us. Then it was time for coffee so off we went back to the West End where we continued to enjoy the beautiful night. Picture perfect.

We drive back to the hotel. Ahh, no kiss and tell here.
