Thur AterNoon thoughts

I finally got to see a picture of my very first grandson but still havent gotten to glance at him in person or hold him BUT I am holding on to the day I will get to make up for all the lost time - he is about 3 weeks old - he is so precious and I love him so

I wrote the finishing touches on the poem I wrote for him and sent it in .... and lets hope that it atleast gets published - if so , he will have something to remember me by if I we never get to meet in life one day..

Not really in the best of moods today so -

Don't think like that, Linda. Of course you'll see him. You have the desire and the will to see him and unless you have a prison record I'm unaware of, there is no reason it won't come to pass. In the mean time your daughter will be busy evaluating her own priorities, and they all favor you in one way or another. She's young, unhappily married, emotionally drained, and like anyone she'll want some relief from all that. So long as you appear calm and loving, she'll come around.

Think of it this way: what are her options? Will she graduate? Can she graduate? Does she want a career? Can she afford to be without one in the coming years? Will her husband provide for her? How will they manage for the care of their son as it stands?

Living on handouts can only last so long before you're faced with nothing but your problems. My cousin recently completed a degree in radiology after having two kids at an early age, and dropping out of high school. She also has a deadbeat for a husband who's never provided for her or her kids. She leaned heavily on the family while she was going to school, and now her ties to the family are stronger than mine. To make a long story short: she's come a long way, in a short time, and she has her mother, aunts, and near family to thank along the way.

Be patient. Three weeks with a newborn goes by in a flash for new parents, and I'm sure they scarcely know where the time has gone.

Take care.
