HYPOTHETICALLY SPEAKING

A relative/friend and I were reminiscing over our college days on yesterday. Interesting conversation, it was. Our main topic was about couples that were together then and who they are with or what they are doing now. It's strange that the ones who we just knew would end up in marriage didn't in most cases and two people that we would have never imagined, ended up being married to each other.

There were some people who neither one of us had a clue to as where they were or what they were doing. This conversation intrigued me so that i came home, got online and did a yahoo or google search for some of our old college buddies.

In most cases, these searches came up empty or they wanted me to pay for them giving me certain information. But, in one particular case, I ran across a pic and profile of an ex-lover from college. Seems he's married now (already knew that part) and has 2 children (didn't know that part). He also has a pretty decent job.

So this got me to thinking? How different would each of our lives be if we would have ended up together. Or how different my life would be if I would have ended up with any of my past lovers? Don't get me wrong, I love my husband dearly, and in most cases, I wouldn't trade him for the world, lol. But hypothetically, of course, would I still be living here in Arkansas, or would I have chosen to move out of state to wherever my "could of been" husband was from? Would we both be successful? Would we have children? If so, how many? Just some thoughts, hypothetically, of course.
