My sister made the front page of the local newspaper this morning. The article has all the information I have already mentioned, and also her name and her general address. Nice to know that our family matters are common knowledge to this city and area now. Small town Wyoming for you. Just wondering why this is front page news and why the police released all of this information. Maybe some good will come of it. There was some information about what he had to say, at least. According to the paper, her ex boyfriend said he was drunk and can not remember any details. He also said he does not know his own strength when he is drunk. Whatever. He said my sister was to blame and started the fight. That is typical of a person who beats women: to blame their victims and saying it is their fault and they deserve it. Just their ignorant mentality. If any of you people out there are in this type of situation, do not take any of the blame. The only responsibility you have is to get out and not allow it to happen again. Your only mistake is in making a poor choice. And what does it matter who stared it? Are we not taught in first grade that it does not matter who starts the fight? My family just wants all this behind us and to move on with our life’s. By the way, no one from the newspaper contacted any of us and asked us our opinions.
The Animal Shelter opened back up Thursday. It had been closed for nearly 5 weeks. In the first 5 minutes, we took in 3 dogs, 4 birds and 3 kittens. By the end of the day, a mere 6 hours, we took in 33 dogs. Nearly all of the dogs were owner turn-ins. Now, should not that be in the paper? I guess it is only “news worthy” if we are euthanizing dogs, not taking care of all the abused, neglected and unwanted dogs this city produces.

Sweetie, I would so be writing a letter to the editor in regards to the paper NOT contacting any of you for your side of this story. |
You know my story on abuse, yep my Dad tried blaming others for his actions, typical. I don't allow that to happen NOW
In your letter to the editor, include the puppies, bird and kittens. To me that IS news worthy
Hang in there sweetie
Hugs, smooches, and smiles always
