Take a Look!

Hello! Thank you for taking a look!

I wrote this little reflection the other day for verygood269 for his blog. I decided to edit it a bit and make it the first entry in my very own blog.

I'm trying to do the very thing that I am offering to you. To 'take a look around and see'. You know----this activity takes more energy than you might think. It's worth it, though!! Maybe it's best not to think too much, as 'verygood269' has tried to teach me to do....less thinking more enjoying!

Take a look around and see!

I'm going down to peek at the lake. I try and do it as much as I can. Sometimes I just leave the office and drive down to the lake and look for a while. I love the lake. It changes colors so often. I love the feeling of the sand on my feet. I really love seeing folks relaxing. We don't do enough of it. Relaxing. It's not being lazy. There is a difference. Yep, there is.

Take a look around and see!

I have fallen in love. I'm sort of in love with peering inside of people's minds here at the blogs. I take a little time each day to be sure and check out what folks are saying. You know, we all are saying the same things in different ways. Different permutations, different wordings, different levels of passion. They are the same. They are another way of connecting. There are so many ways of connecting. I've decided to make this connection, here in this place.

Take a look around and see!

Connect, today. Connect with something, someone, something you absolutely LOVE and CHERISH. Do it so that your soul can be energized and nourished. See something in a new way. Seeing isn't always believing. Seeing is amazing. Seeing is a gift.

Take a look around and see!

--to verygood269---thanks, you're swell!

sensualgirl,i wonder if when we are missing that"connection",and the ability to share compassion,do we tend to see things more clearer??
example;my family is out of my everyday life.i take time each day to relax,in my case,my backyard. i see so much, life and nature are abundant.i know what is missing.my great solace is to play music with many people...it is my way now,of making connections which are incredible!!!!seeing and being...is amazing!! your writings here..is a gift to all that read it!!!!...yep!!!
