Can't We All Just Get Along? (The Chat Room Wars)

I've been going into some chat rooms and it seems to me people are more interested in making war rather than making love.

People can be nasty sometimes. I thought this site was all about meeting people and clicking. I don't understand why people have to come into a room and start saying stupid stuff. Then someone else in the room has to respond to the first one and some war of the words starts in a chat room that's supposed to be friendly. Can't we all just get along?

I am the first to admit: When I go into a room I have no idea what's going on in there. I just say hello and talk to anyone who feels like talking. See where things go. It's kind of like going into a bar only this time, I don't have to worry about dancing (I can't dance) or running up some ridiculous tab. Hopefully, that will happen when we meet.

Then someone has to come in making these ridiculous statements about web cams, how horny they are or how nasty they like to get. It comes from men and women. I look at this and wonder how I'm still single with all of these love gods and goddesses trying to prove how immature they can be. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with making those types of statements. It's just not the way I would go about starting a conversation.

After telling everyone what you want and how big you are, rather than saying who you are and where you're from, someone else starts laying in on this person about how rude they are and how they need to grow up. Suddenly the room becomes about this stupid argument over an immature statement.

There's nothing wrong with talking dirty in my opinion. I just think there's a proper time and place for it. I wouldn't feel very comfortable going into a room and just saying, "Hey, who'd like a big dick right now?" Maybe after saying, "Hello. How are you?" and so on you can start getting into details like that.

I wonder what people think about this. Maybe I'm going at this all wrong. Maybe I'm looking at this from the wrong angle and that's why I have trouble understanding it. Can someone help me out?

The internet with its immediacy and annonymity encourages thoughtless interchanges and ego. I gave up on chat rooms as too stupid and chaotic for my taste. I say don't sweat the small stuff, and most of this stuff is infintesimal.

IT HAPPENS ALL OVER. I AM ON AOL ALSO, I USED TO GO INTO THE CHATROOMS, BUT GOT TIRED OF THE B.S. SO I STARTED MAKING MY OWN ROOMS,WHERE I HAD THE CONTROL OF KICKING SOMEONE OUT WHEN THEY BECAME AN ASS, BUT I JUST GAVE UP. I DON'T EVEN GO INTO THE ROOMS ANYMORE. IT IS NOT WORTH IT.
YOU HAVE SO MANY PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO THRIVE ON MAKING OTHERS AS MISERABLE AS THEY ARE, AND LIKE TO BRING OTHERS DOWN, AND BECOME THE CENTER OF ATTENTION, WEATHER IT BE GOOD ATTENTION, OR BAD, IT IS STILL ATTENTION.
YOU HAVE THE MEN WHO ARE CRUDE, AND PERVERTED,(CAN'T FAULT THEM I AM TO AND THE WOMEN WHO ARE ON THIS SITE, HAVE THEIR PUSSY POSTED FOR ALL TO SEE, BUT ARE OFFENDED BYE WHAT SOME PERVERT SAYS.
AND WHAT IS UP WITH THE CLICKS?WHAT DO YOU DO TO JOIN THE LIL GROUPS? HOW DO YOU START YOUR OWN. I WANNA CLICK,I WANNA GROUP!!! LOL
I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND IT.

Hot, all you need to do is go to the GROUPS section and follow the directions to start you're own group.
