Sexy Food - what turns you on?

I wrote a couple of blogs about food and how it can be a great way to turn somebody on. I also wrote about some sexy experiances that began with a meal.

One meal that I LOVE to prepare and Eat is my version of Chicken Piccata. It is light and very flavorful so your lover won't feel all full and sleepy. The meal, including appetizer is easy to make and very inexpensive. Get your lover in the kitchen and make the prep for this meal fun too.

Here is what you will need:

2 large skinless chicken breasts. (sliced into 4 cutlets)
1/2 teaspoon of sea salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup of all purpose flour for dredging
4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
2 tablespoons of good extra-virgin olive oil
1/2 cup of low-sodium chicken broth
1/3 cup of fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
1/4 cup of capers, rinsed and drained
2 tablespoons of chopped flat leaf parsley

Slicing cutlets - place chicken on cutting board and flatten it out place the palm of your hand on the chicken and with a sharp knife cut chicken with short sawing motion keeping the broad side of the knife parallel to the cutting board and the palm of your hand.

Season your cutlets with salt and pepper. In a large sauté pan melt 2 tablespoons of butter with the 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.

Dredge the chicken cutlets in the flour. Remember the flour should be a light coating, you are not trying to make a thick crust. Add the chicken to the pan and cook just until light brown on both sides. Transfer chicken to a plate.

In the same pan add chicken broth, lemon juice, and capers. Bring mixture to a boil over medium-high heat making sure you scrape up the brown renderings from the bottom of the pan for extra flavor. Reduce heat to medium and simmer the mixture. With tongs return the chicken to the pan and cook through (about 5 minute turning once).

When chicken is done transfer to a serving platter. Whisk the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter into the sauce in the pan then pour over the chicken and spinkle with the parsley.

I will serve this with steamed or sauté mixed veggies usually carrots, chopped summer squash and broccli.

Serve a nice Chardonay or Pinot Gri.

Cooking together can be some GREAT foreplay, give it a try.

Would love to hear some other sexy foods you may fix for your lover to get them in the mood.
