Morgan Spurlock - 30 Days

Just watched Morgan Spurlocks show 30 Days. The episode about living on minimum wage.

This episode was great and shows what it takes to live below the poverty line. There are about 20 million Americans who do this everyday, thier entire lives. That's about one tenth of our population folks.

I have been a working man my whole life. My mother and father worked their whole lives but we were the lucky ones. Not rich by any stretch of the imagination but we had what we needed.

Morgan didn't tell me anything I didn't already know but I think it's GREAT that his information is making it to mainstream audiances.

Thanks Morgan.

If you are interested Google Morgan Spurlock, he has a great Blog.

I loved Super Size Me. It was a great film and really made a lot of people think. I haven't had fast food in six months because of him...

I hear ya EC. I come for a working class family and I wouldn't change a thing. It makes a person strong in character and self reliance.

Cutepdx, I loved that documentary as well. I have never been a fan of fast food. In '91 I went through a battle with cancer and was basically shut off of any type of fast food by my doctor. Since 91 I haven't had any type of McDonalds, Wendy's or others... Nothing but Organic Whole Foods for me...Even did a year at the Culinary Institue of America in San Fransico so I wouldn't be a total lamo in the kitchen. Plus it took my mind off the Chemo treatments.

Thanks for sharing gang.
