Lack of face pics/Maintaining anonymity

What's up with so many people only putting body shots up on the site? I get it when the member in question is commiting adultery, but why else are they hiding their face? And what is with the blanked out eyes?!? Like if I knew that person I wouldn't recognize them. To me the face is the most critical factor in determining whether someone is attractive or not. So why all the hiding? I pretty much just post face pics. I figure we can get kinky in private........Thoughts/comments?

Some of us have to decide. Is it going to be body, or face. And even if you aren't showing your body, there are wider implications when you advertise on a personal's site. Do you want your family to know your private business? Or fellow workers? Or your customers? We should have a right to our privacy.

And it's a bit shallow to judge a person on their visual features. But then you have made it clear that youa re after physical attraction. I guess character matters less.

I agree with fruitytouch. We have a right to privacy. I only want to share photos with somebody when I am reasonably confident that I want to go one stage further.

Moreover, how do we know the face, or body parts, really belong to that person. I know on my profile I have a cute photo of a young girl with a wine glass between her legs (see my blog to see the photo). It certainly isn't me with a blond wig! However, I am not trying to deceive anyone.

YUMMY!! This is my FAVORITE photo of Sad0ck76 *pant, pant*

I have to agree with fruitytouch and ExpatAdventurer...think about it--I work @ a college...I've met 2 students on here that I turned DOWN because of possible implications. I need my privacy until I am ready to share those face photos with others. Once I feel I can trust someone, I have no reservations about showing them all the photos they wanna see! (Ain't that right, AAM!??? )

But your point about the adultery stands with me too I ain't proud, but you do what you gotta do!

Okay, y'all bring up some good points here.

fruity, I actually think character is MORE important than animal attraction, but aesthetics certainly play a role in any relationship.

Expat, see my other post re:are they who they say they are. Another reason I love confirm ID. I'm shocked Passion/AdultFriendFinder let you put someone elses pic up when it is so OBVIOUSLY not you.

goddess, if you were not committing adultery, would you still refrain from posting face shots? I kind of doubt it but I may be wrong......

See new post re:common theme of privacy. I actually think Americans are WAY too obsessed with this "right" of ours.
