A while back I posted a question/opinion about how I thought we should do away with privacy laws. [nightstogether] was kind enough to refer me to 1984 by George Orwell as an illustration of what life might be like without our precious privacy.

While I still think we'd be better off with less privacy than have nowandays, there are certainly situations in which it is warranted. As with most things it is a case where neither black or white is the way to go but a shade of gray somewhere in the middle.

I do highly recommend Orwell's 1984 to anyone who has not read it yet. It is a warning to all of what could potentially happen if we are not careful with the power with which we entrust to our government. Thanks again to [nightstogether] for the recommendation! I'm sure he will make an excellent chief of police.

Remember, Big Brother is watching

lol had you ever wondered where the Big Brother reality TV series got it's name??? lol
it is a good book glad it got you thinking....
