Life is beautiful...

Regrets are the instruments that paint character on a man's face. A man who has no regrets has no character. Not because he has no regrets but because he has regrets and has not yet realized what they are.

I have done things in my life that make me proud. I have done things in my life that I regret. But through the raging storms and the pain that were hidden by a smile and a joke I have survived. While I might have orchestrated the events of my life differently had I been given the option, in retrospect, I would not trade one single day because without those days I would not be who I am now.

Who I am now is beautiful, strong, and happy. Despite my temper, my flair for melodrama, and all the ups and downs my friends have had to endure, I like who I am. If you can look into the mirror and like who you are then you are doing ok.

For those of you who worry about me, thank you.

I am who I am. I am up and I am down. I am your friend and I am your clown. But whether I laugh or I frown, you will always have me around.

Ryan I am so glad to see you have been working on your blog - I visited some time ago before you had made any entries. I have enjoyed your writings so far and plan to peek in often.
Now, I have to say - it was such a pleasure meeting you last night! I guess you slipped out when sexyscuba and I were trying our luck and skill (HA!) at the stuffed animal machine thingy. We walked back to the group empty-handed, and then learned that you had left. I'm sorry I didn't get to say goodbye. I know you had a blast at the birthday party, but will we get to read all the dirt, err, details in your blog?
Anyway, I expected to meet an incredibly shy kid, but found you to be very mature and engaging. If you were at all uncomfortable you did a remarkable job of hiding it.
I hope we will see you at the next M&G. I love to 'read' you and I would like to be able to spend more time actually talking to you.
