What did she call me?

What did she call me?

Over the years I've been called a few different pet names by past girlfriends. I've made up a few myself, but it seems the women in my life are usually the ones giving out the endearing names.

Some of my past pet names given to me...

> Poopie
> Fred
> Sweety
> Honey
> Baby
> Banana
> (and most recently) Honey Buns

Years ago when my wife was my girlfriend and life was less complicated I came up with a pet name for her that was truly as unique and as special as she was to me when I thought of it.

I called her my Raison d'etre. Translated from french it means my Reason For Being. I actually put a lot of thought and research into finding that name, and I think by the way she bragged about it she liked it.

What kind of pet names have you been called?

What pet names have you made up for your significant other(s)?

Sj in its many forms, from Slip, Slippy, Slippy Jo, Slippy Jo Jenkins.

I once had an Italian boyfriend who insisted on calling me 'la luce' (the light) which was very sweet, 'cept everyone misheard or misunderstood & called me Lucy.

I used to call my daughters Pookie or Pookiebear till one day my Phillipino husband pointed out that the reason he smiled every time I said it to them was that in his native Tagolog it meant vagina.
Ever since, I've refered to them either by name, or thing one & thing two.

ru, "Poopie?" Man I do NOT wanna know...

Tearms of endearment I've been called consist of asshole, dickhead, fuckwad, stop-trying-to-put-that-thing-in-my-ass and it's-so-big!. But really, I prefer Cabana boy.. heh heh..

mustluv, I gotta ask... pussynella?

saint, you picked my two favorites, poopie and banana. BIG BANANA!

sj, I've heard other people say pookie. I wonder how many of them know what it means. That is too funny! I'm gonna use that when I wanna say vagina but can't.

BF, awww come on.. it's not so bad. Actually it's kind of odd and has nothing to do with poop. If you've ever seen the Music Man (the musical) there was a song ShiPoopi and some of the lines had to do with the girl being hard to get. The girl who game me that name played hard to get but I won her over. Naturally, poopie was an appropriate adaptation and a good pet name.

Here's the song lyrics...

SHIPOOPI
(c) 1957 M. Willson

Well, a woman who'll kiss on the very first date
Is usually a hussy
And a woman who'll kiss on the second time out
Is anything but fussy
But a woman who'll wait till the third time around
Head in the clouds, feet on the ground
She's the girl he's glad he's found
She's his Shipoopi

Shipoopi! Shipoopi, Shipoopi
The girl who's hard to get!
Shipoopi. Shipoopi, Shipoopi
But you can win her yet.

Walk her once just to raise the curtain
Then you walk around twice and make for certain
Once more in the flower garden
She will never get sore if you beg her pardon

Do re me fa so la si
Do si la sol fa mi re do

Squeeze her once, when she isn't lookin'
If you get a squeeze back that's fancy cookin'
Once more for a pepper-upper
She will never get sore on her way to supper

Do re me fa sol la si
Do si do

Now little ol' Sal was a no-gal
As anyone could see
Lookit her now, she's a go-gal
Who only goes for me

Squeeze her once when she isn't lookin'
If you get a squeeze back, that's fancy cookin'
Once more for a pepper-upper
She will never get sore on her way to supper

Do re me fa sol la si
Do si do

Shipoopi, Shipoopi, Shipoopi
The girl who's hard to get
Shipoopi. Shipoopi, Shipoopi
But you can win her yet

Shipoopi
