How to Increase Semen Volume

How to Increase Semen Volume
Let us first take a look at what semen is made of and how it is produced. Follow the diagram below for the location of the male reproduction organs and structures.

"How do I get more semen?"

The making of semen
Basic ingredients: sperm cells, testicle fluid (5, seminal fluid (60, prostate fluid (30 and Cowper's gland fluid (5

The following describes each organ that takes part in the making of the semen cocktail, in the order the sperm travels through the body on its way out.

Testicles
Produce sperm cells and hold them until they are mature (takes 2-3 months). Once mature, sperm cells leave the testicles and enter your epididymis.

Epididymis
This is a coiled tubular organ attached to your testicles. It stores the mature sperm cells where they learn to swim while waiting for your next sexual activity (masturbation or intercourse). During sex your testicles swell and some liquid is added to the sperm cells. The mixture is then moved into your vas deferens. So far the cocktail represents only 5% of the total volume that will be ejaculated. Most of the liquids are still to be added.

Vas Deferens
Two tubes that lead the sperm upward moments before ejaculation. They dilate into an ampulla that serves as a holding place for the sperm mixture. Just before the prostate gland, the tubes unite with the ducts of the seminal vesicles.

Seminal Vesicles
Two pouch-like glands that produce your seminal fluid, a light-yellowish thick liquid rich in fructose. During ejaculation this fluid is added to the sperm mixture from the ampulla (see above). Seminal fluid accounts for about 60% of the semen volume.

Prostate Gland
Doughnut shaped gland located below the bladder. It secretes a thin, milky, alkaline fluid, called the prostate fluid. During ejaculation the sperm mixture passes through the prostate gland and this fluid is added to it. Prostate fluid accounts for about 30% of the total semen.

Cowper’s Glands
Two small glands the size of a pea that secrete a clear slippery mucous fluid better known as pre-ejaculate or pre-cum. It accounts for about 5% of the volume. (The liquid is secreted upon sexual stimulation, not just during ejaculation. Upon prolonged sexual stimulation the amount of pre-cum can sometimes surpass the total amount of semen.) In texture and color it is very similar to the clear slippery secretions from a woman's vagina. Women report that even the taste of pre-cum is very much like the taste of their own yummy vaginal juices. ("Now I know why she enjoys milking and licking the pre-cum from my penis!")

Women love the taste of precum.

During sexual stimulation all these organs start working together. At the time of orgasm the semen cocktail is then forcefully ejected by contractions of the pelvic floor muscles and prostate gland.

Testicle fluid
(incl. sperm cells) transports the sperm cells towards prostate 5% testicles & epididymis
Seminal fluid nutrient for the sperm cells 60% seminal vesicles
Prostate fluid protects the sperm by neutralizing the acidity of the female vaginal tract. 30% prostate gland
Pre-cum neutralizes the acidity of the urethra (the tube inside your penis ) 5% Cowper’s glands
Urethral mucous lubricates and readies the urethra prior to ejaculation <1% urethral glands

Tricks to increase the quantity of semen you ejaculate
(and never be a "dribbler" again!)

Although women are excited by the view of large quantities of sperm, the real benefit is that by shooting more sperm your orgasm lasts longer. Nothing better than feeling the endless sensations of spurt after spurt of semen pumping through the core of your penis!

Eating some smoked oysters everyday is a good way to start. It will increase your semen volume because of the natural form of zinc they contain. However, zinc only works on the prostate gland, which accounts for just 30% of the total semen.

Another trick is to splash cold water on your testicles everyday (for instance right after your shower in the morning). This will stimulate the blood supply and cool off the scrotum, thus increasing sperm production.

Taking a supplement like ginko in addition to your healthy diet will drastically improve the results, because of the right proportion of the two amino acids L-Arginine and L-Lysine, zinc oxide and some other power ingredients (like horny goat weed). Together they work on all glands responsible for the semen production (see table above). Horny goat weed is said to also stimulate the Cowper's glands, which produce the pre-cum. (be careful: too much of it can turn your penis into a cum leaking faucet!)
