Gone but NEVER forgotton

handle

I lost my best friend. His name is Ray. I have known him most of my life. He was my first love. My first everything. I learned so much from him. I am amazed at how much his influence has and still does effect my life. I just don't know what to do with my self now.

Imtuely sorry to see that you lost someone so close. I cant say in a couple of words what to do but one thing is for sure. dont ever forget.!!!!!!! The feelings the Friendship.Friends that close are a very special thing. It may be hard to think it know but as it sounds ,You were the lucky one You got to spend time together You were close its hard to think about going on without this person in tour life but you must. But never forget the smile, the laugh, and the hugs of a great friend. My thoughts are with you.

It was said that I didn't mention how I lost him. He passed away on Sunday.

I am so sorry - having a recent loss in my own life. Never forget what he meant to you. I have found it helpful to remember certain things at a certain time each day - good luck - my thoughts are with you.

The power of life lies in the fact that death does not conquer those who live on in the memory of others. A tribute to Ray might serve to provide you with a means of connection that could continue into the future even without Ray. Consider what his greatest interests and loves were, and find some way to memorialize Ray in connection with those things. A loving heart that offers peace to others will always receive it in return. -liquidluver

I'M SURE YOU ARE TIRED OF HEARING THIS, BUT I AM SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.
I KNOW WHAT IT FELLS LIKE TO LOSE SOMEONE CLOSE, IT HAS BEEN TWO YEARS NOW SINCE I HAVE LOSS MY DAD AND NOW FINDING OUT MY MOM HAS CANCE AS WELL. ONE THING YOU CAN "ALWAYS" COUNT ON IS "FRIENDS" AND WITH THAT I MEAN "TRUE FRIENDS". YOU WILL FIND OLD AND EVEN NEW ONES, THE ONES THAT KNOW HOW TO MAKE YOU LAUGH IN TIMES LIKE THESE ARE THE BEST.
YOU TAKE CARE AND KNOW THAT THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO MEET FRIENDS.
P.S. I CAN'T WAIT TO HEAR FROM YOU AGAIN. I BET I CAN PUT A SMILE ON YOUR FACE. THE FEMALE OF WETCOUPLE4U

Loss is something that almost everyone will endure in their life. The difficulty is the remembering, and the emotions that come with the memories. Take the time to try and plan rememberance, and try to choose the memories that will affect you most positively. Sometimes you may want to have other people close when you mentally review memories, sometimes you want to be alone. Choose some dates and places carefully for rememberance, for sometimes the emotions can make you a mental and/or physical wreck, othertimes you walk away the stronger for the memories. Take care with your self and your future, for that is proably what Ray would have wanted. Wake each morning and morn not for what is lost, but gather the strength and courage to continue, for life is granted anew each day. Enjoy life as you should.

Thank you to every one who responded. You might not believe it but your kind compasionate words made me cry. It's nice to know that someone not only cares but understands how hard it is to lose someone so close.
