The First AFF Post

This is my first post to the AdultFriendFinder blog. I hope you all enjoy it. What's said in here will be exactly what I write in my own personal journal. Cut, copy, paste is the way to go!

Let the blogging begin (or continue, whichever way you look at it):

I woke up today feeling interestingly good. And I'm really not sure why that is. But I'll take it nonetheless. My guess is that Star Wars is closing in on us. My little brother is so pumped to see it. I'm taking him and his four friends to see it Thursday night on the IMAX screen. It's gonna be so cool. I also have been thinking about how to put some spark back into my energy level. I know that most of my body tends to feel run down, and I'm sure that has a lot to do with the fact that I don't exercise and don't really eat the best foods. I think that's very evident with this past weekend's basketball and light saber fights. Man, I got wore out. During my lunch break today, however, I past this cute little girl who was just riding her bicycle along this quiet country road. It got me thinking. With the warmer weather most likely staying around for a while, riding a bike seems like a really good idea. It's the perfect opportunity to get me outside and get my heart rate up. I mean, I had my old bike all through college, and I road that thing everywhere, everyday. I'm going to take a look online to see what bikes would work well for some good endurance riding. There are plenty of country roads near my apartment that would be good to ride on.

Contemplating which bikes to get also got me thinking about money. I have been stuck in a rut for so long when it comes to my money. I only seem to make enough money to live on. There's not a lot that gets saved up - at least not in the amount that I'd like to see. I thought hard about what exactly I could do to have an extra income. Then while I was eating my lunch, I noticed a piece of paper on the table with some onformation on Google. As of last Friday, Google, Inc. is worth almost $60 billion, with this last quarter showing an increase in revenue of $1.2 billion! Most of this money is being generated through their advertising streams. That was amazing to me. I mean, it makes perfect sense. With the billions of searches that the world does on Google, and with each search page displaying ads, it's no wonder they have become a bigger company than GM, Ford, Viacom, and Disney, to name a few. It also stated that Internet advertising makes up nearly 4 percent of all worldwide spending. That's just huge! It's almost free money if you can get in on that. But what sort of web site could I put together that would generate enough traffic to warrant the effort? My thoughts went back to CineMedia, an old movie web site that I created back in college. What if I revived it? And what if I asked Matt to partner with me? He's the one person I know that can find the dish on a ton of movies about as well as I can. I'll give him a call in the next couple of days, and see if he'd be interested in something like that.

It's good to focus on the physical and financial aspects of me, but there's also that emotional part that's still hovering in limbo. Shannon hasn't called me yet. I might have to resort to calling her house and talking to somebody else there. I just want to know how she's doing. I don't want to push her, but this is really starting to get annoying. Nobody is so busy that they can't pick up the phone and call. I mean, even the president can afford ten minutes out of his day to make a call to the people he cares about. That's not asking too much. Hopefully, we'll get some answers soon.

Welcome to blogging It is a lot of fun and a great way to get to know people here. As for the savings - sugar pay yourself first! Every payday put at least $10 in your savings account. More if possible, but no less than $10. You'll be amazed at how quickly it adds up. And the larger the balance the more you'll want to put in there - thus you'll find things in your spending that you can cut back on to increase your savings. This is sort of an area I specialize in writing about - so sorry if I gave unwanted advise
