Still Here...

Still Here...

I'm still here
wondering around the town
watching the people
walking, waiting,
wondering.

Watching
blogland bloggers
become
blogland bloomers,
then friends.
Each with their own dream...
desire...
to be.

Wondering
where they go,
what they do,
how they live,
how they love.

Traveling
through time
and electronic space,
looking in to each home
to see if it's safe to stay.

I'm still here,
waiting on a truth
or a smile,
or even a kind thought.

Why are you still here?

(end)

(Don't think too much on this. I'm just working on getting myself in the mood. Mood for what? Now, that is one hell of a good question.)

I wonder the same things too. I too am a people watcher....I could spend all day in an airport watching people come and go. Tears of goodbye and tears of joy....and I'm sure that the "soap opera" story that my mind makes up is better than the real one they are involved in. And I'm waiting too. I'm not sure what I'm waiting for, but I'm waiting. Some days I think I am waiting for joy, and some days for that giant foot in the sky to stomp me down and grind me into the ground. But still, I wait.

PS. And thats the truth...and here's a smile!

Safira, yeah, I kinda like it too!

A mood to "be" determined.

This could be used for many things.
a- prior to hearing an excuse for why they kept you waiting.

b- first time being intimate together.

c- what you might say before one of your unbelievable walks.

d- seeing, meeting someone for the first time for a drink.

e- wondering if that dress your thinking about buying will do the trick.
There are a lot of uses for this. 143 girl, unlisted

Kat, apart for you being under the weather, (get better soon!) I really like your world.

There seems to be something special about it that I can't quite put my fingers on it; but yet... I really would like to see that world someday. It sounds, pleasant, easy.

hugs, and kiss, (I'm not afraid of your germs! lol!) unlisted

Angel, I agree with you, also. Sometimes we don't know what we're waiting for... just know that we are waiting for something.

I was talking to a friend of mine today. He is a very highly respected person in my community. I don't know why I said it, but I told him that what he was doing was wonderful and the community really appreciated his efforts and time he was spending achieving some splendid work... but that he also needed to make sure his priorities also included time for him. His wife overheard, and agreed completely with me. It was almost like I had seen through something that was obviously bothering her, and when I lent support for it, he actually blushed, and looked at her with a saddness and love at the same time, and said "he's right... you're right."

Waiting for something, and he didn't even know he was waiting for it. He had lost himself in something else. She was waiting for something and couldn't make him hear it. I don't know... sometimes perhaps we should really look around us and see if we are waiting for that something that's been there the whole time to just let us know it's there.

Okay, I've gotten a little off track and strange here.
