I love music... always have.

It can take me anywhere. And it can remind me of the places I've been... and some places I hope to be.

The person who says they don't sing, is telling a lie!!!
They just may not sing well, that's all. And some that I've heard, I'm glad they don't sing often in front of me.

"Love the One You're With" (should be a theme song around here, at times)

"Just Ask the Lonely"

"The Happy Birthday Song" (for you)

I love music too unlistedone. I play the piano, and you can usually tell my mood by what I am playing. Music is a universal language, and I agree that everyone sings.....even some I wish wouldn't! But God told us to "make a joyful noise", and it doesn't always have to be in key!

"Cherish" is one I'm thinking of you with!

Angel, when I wrote this post, that scripture kept popping into my mind. Started to even add it.

I'm a one fingered piano player. Always wanted to play one. Played seven different instruments growing up. Still want to learn the piano.

The Association didn't make many, but "Cherish" was about all they needed to do. I take that as a very nice compliment... and will dream.

Wonder what became of them, and "Brooklyn Bridge" and a few other groups?

Kat, if I'm going down the road, I'm singing!!!

Drifters, a favorite "beach" group. Do you know "Beach Music?" The Myrtle Beach kind of music? "Under the Boardwalk" and "Sand in My Shoes," kind of beach music? (The heart of my collection!)

I have a friend, not on here. We are close... not "that" close.
She has promised "To Save the Last Dance for Me." If you know the lyrics, you'll understand. (smiles, lookin' inside at the memories.) I don't ever talk about this. I guess I don't want to jinx it. But it is true.

I have one cd of Ricky... his greatest hits.
(Rocknroll Heaven now! Even the Righteous Brothers said he was there! One of them has joined that "hell of a band.") I know that's not his music... but when I think or hear him, I think of this song. Man, would I love to hear that band play!!!
I guard his cd well. There was a time when I thought I was "A Travelin' Man." LOL!!!

Remember when singing that it's a joyful noise not a beautiful noise that's required. And joy can take on many, many tones.

Safira, you are right. And trust me, some of my "noise" isn't very beautiful. But if I'm singing along with Mr. Buffet, it's joyful!!!
