Different Songs...

Different songs running through my mind. No, I'm not down... just thinking. (That may be even more dangerous!)

"Unchained Melody" Righteous Brothers

"The Tracks of My Tears" Smokey Robinson

"Cheeseburger in Paradise"

(Okay, it may be the drugs I'm taking!!!!)

Smoke Get's in Your Eyes
You've Lost that Lovin Feelin
My Girl
Ain't Too Proud to Beg
Just My Imagination
The Impossible Dream
Moon River
So Far Away (can't forget C. King)
What a Wonderful World

Dont forget Etta James' At Last or anything else of hers.... sounds like it might fit your mood. you can program one with maybe 7 of your favorite artists and it will create a station just for you.

PS sent your Light poem to a friend that was down, with your handle for credit and she really enjoyed it.

Hope you feel well. Enjoy those med's. LOL

Caress, thanks... I hope to feel better.

My body doesn't like itself very much right now, and my brain is mad at for not being able to do what it wants. (Big battle... both losing. lol.)

hug for the classy redheaded lady, that can turn "any" eye, unlisted

Fly, it's the only version I listen to here. (I like the last piano note.)

The sixties Detroit Motown, I love all of it. My list could have been several hundred strong, just from there! Like the "4 Tops, Live at the Roostertail."
May be there best ever live album. (Yes, it was "albums" back then... for the younger viewers.)

"Baby Love" Supremes

Sorry Angel... took the last of them today. Now we're both on our own. Glad you like the list.

"Do Right Woman - Do Right Man" Aretha

Gotta love her. Hope the music makes you feel better. (And yes, I have every song I've listed at home. It's my hobby!)

Never could forget "Etta." I've found she, and "At Last" is a huge hit among ladies.

Thank you for given me credit for "The Light." You honor me for thinking it may help someone down. That's one of the reasons I write. Use anything you need.

Kat, yes drugs.

I hate taking them, would love to do the "natural" way to cure ailments. But sometimes you gotta have help. Now that I've taken all I can safely take for awhile, I'm on my own.

"REST!!!! REST!!! My doc friend said. And when you think you want to do something... REST!!! some more!!!

He was rather emphatic about it. It's all I can do, really... no strength.

"My Prayer" The Platters

Papy... thanks for the big, tight, safe hug. I really appreciate those. You always have mine.

"You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine" Lou Rawls

I remember him doing this at the Grammies a long time ago, and live. He got choked and missed several lines, because he was choking. Then he fought his was through it, and brought the whole house down! A fabulous performance!

Rod McKuen... I thought I was the only person alive who had an appreciation for him! Yippee! And Lou Rawls, god I love that voice, so deep and sexy... I love song lyrics, thanks for reminding me of so many great ones!

Flinky... I was introduced to his writing when I was in high school, and have been thankful for it ever since. He is still doing his thing, too. Go to "A safe place to land" and start reading. It's great!!! I love his homepage. New books. New poems, his thoughts about everything. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Lou Rawls "The Right Stuff" cd is all love songs. You'll really like it.

"See You When I Get There" a favorite of mine from there

"The Sea" by Rod McKuen.
