What do you notice first???

Had a talk with my daughter the other day when she mentioned that she met this incredibly handsome man the other day.

Me: So, what color was his eyes?

Her: Ummm, don’t know.

Me: What about his hair?

Her: Have no idea.

Me: Was it straight or wavy?

Her: Wasn’t looking at that, Mom!

Me: Well.... were you just looking at the waist down????

Her: Mom! No.

Me: Then what did you find attractive about him?????

Her: His luscious lips. I just wanted to bite them!

Me: (laughing) So, you are into biting lips????

Her: Well, yes.

LOL.... It is amazing what attracts someone to take a double look at another and find some level of attraction. I would not, for example, get so driven on a set of lips. For me, it is what I see in the eyes (the sparkle, glistening and road to their soul), as well as a few other attributes that enable me to look again for the deeper soul of that man.

Too, I think for people around their 20’s, it is more about lust rather than true love and the deeper relationship than the surface. However, I think that there is still that something that gives one to give a second glance at someone.

What is that something for you??????

Just curious....

jim5131 - Yep, so true. Albeit I don't look at lips as a determining factor necessarily, it is fun to see how similar we are in many ways - in more ways than she knows.

The walk , let a man swagger into the room and Im all big eyes . Let a sexy woman even catwalk past me and Im looking . The way you walk aka carry yourself tells so much .

Hey TxRose! Isn't it scary when they grow up and start to think like us?

My youngest is starting to go this route as well...he'll look at some young ladies, look at me, ask "Dad...did you see that..?"

"Yep. I just don't make a big deal about it anymore."

I like it more that he talks to girls waaaaaay more than his buddies talk to girls. Cuts down on the competition. Good boy.

B0SSIERBOY - I would have thought that the majority of men responding would be referring to the boobies. I guess that is part of the stigma in society - so much emphasis on the boobies....Glad you also mentioned the collar bone, etc. as well. They certainly add to the lines/curves of a body as well - just as an adam's apple might do for some men as well.

TheQuietGuy2005 - Definately a lot to be said about the eyes of a person. One can also see emotions, which may send us flags as well.

I do know what you mean, DallasPhallus56. I have a whole list of things in my mind that deter me from seeing someone or attract me to see someone more. However, the eyes definately do something for me as well.

I'm a tit man myself. A good pair of honkers gets me every time!

Actually if I had to pick a body part it would be the collarbone and throat or the hipbone at the pelvis. Very erogenous to me.

Since when did it stop being about lust?

Eyes for me too, as long as they are firm with big nipples.

Eyes do it for me too - I can drown in a good pair of eyes ... and to see the sparkle of intelligence, wit, humour ... oh yesssss

The eyes have it, every time, as far as physical attributes go. However, conversation that tells me what kind of a person she is makes all the difference. Red flags include:

I hate my job.
I'm all stressed out.
I never have the time to do what I want.
You just seem so together.
I don't cook for myself.

And a host of others, which I could think of if I weren't so tired. You get the idea.
