Trojan Preparedness

My goodness, I was shopping at the local Walgreen's and passed by the display of trojans/rubbers and it nearly took half an isle with all the variations available.

How do you know which one to choose now????

What are your preferences???

Still trying to figure out when they became so diversified..... lol....

R123Perez - hmmm... learned something new. Throughout my married years, I had nothing to worry about condoms, etc, because we were seeing only one another. Plus, I have never had the use for any kind of jells - KY or anything else. Thanks for the update!!

Astroglide is the same as KY. It's safe to use with condoms because it is a water based product and not an oil base.

Trojan all the way! I tried almost everything else and they all broke on me.
Spermicide to prevent youngens.
Who needs lube with a bottle of Astroglide!
Ribbed for her pleasure, makes no difference to me.

DCEbony - Inspirals... never heard or seen of them... Do they sell them in our neck of the woods????

Inspirals, baby.

Those are the best one I've encountered from my perspective and the men like them, too. (Well, as much as a man can like a condom.)

They're got a weird shape, but they allow for a lot more movement than the traditional condom.

PillsburyCodeBoy - Shriek is now under a new name??? I thought hotels and banks were the only ones changing their names -- too funny!!

Ahhhh, as part of the one-man consumer reporting, I am presuming that also includes testing????

jgbkab - Yeah... with me, I am generally so wet that adding lube would just be something else to add to the mix -- or get in the way. Not very useful...

morefutility - No doubt!! That would be awful to deal with someone else's diseases...

I like Durex better than Trojan. I think they're the ones that used to be called Sheik, which is what I originally knew them as. The ultra-thin kind, lubed and spermicidal. (I can't help giggling; "spermicidal" sounds like something they'd say on Law & Order.) Always willing to try new brands, though. Always willing to serve as a one-man Consumer Report.

I've never thought the lubricated were very lubricated to begin with anyway.

And isn't the "ribbed for her pleasure" kinda usless ladies?

Trojans without the lube. The only goo I want on my hands is the goo from the goody.

ByteChaser2 - hee hee....

Trojan - is there any other?????
Lubricated - especially important if someone isn't naturally very wet I guess
Spermicidal - definately have to kill the nasties....
Ribbed or non-ribbed - are also variations available.

I am still confused!!!

Every shape and size--eh? Well as they say, It does take all kinds. I am on hiatus from the old birth control as I can no longer have children, and I am trusting Hubby not to bring anything nasty back to the ole homestead.

Trojan... Lubricated spermacidal. Ribbed if I'm feeling a little froggy.

Trojans cause that's what my pops taught me to use.
Lubricated cause no one wants to hear that screetching tire sound for a half hour...
Spermacidal cause it kills all those nasties.
