Is it just me...

or is it a fact??????

I have been reading blogs from both women and men (younger and older) and it seems that the men tend to report in their blogs their sexual achievements (and play by plays)and women tend to report in their blogs more about themselves.

Now, I know that I fit the part of reporting more about myself in my blogs, and as a result you would seem to know me very well whenever we did meet up.

Just as there is with any rule, there are exceptions to the rule -- however, on the whole, do you think men do tend to report their sexual achievements, if you will, than women? Is this because of the "locker room" talk that men are brought up with even from the middle school days???

And, on the whole, do you feel that women tend to report more about themselves than men? Do you suppose that this is because they are able to freely express themselves, even from a very young age?

What do you think????? Who do you think does their best to break out of their typical mode??? What are your fav blogs? and why????

I think you are right. It does breed a sense of competition, but also, in a strange sense, a sense of a family unit. Throughout the past month, I have gotten to know a variety of people; some seemingly more than others and understand and love some of their wit, humor, intellegence, etc. I think it is probably more important to the woman to actually get to know the man that she is going to sleep with. Back in the 70s/80s, it was totally different; but, these same people who are in the 30-50 range are more realistic about this on the whole, as well as probably other ranges as well.

I am surprised, too, that there aren't more personal blogs; however, I think that people who do are experiencing this AdultFriendFinder thing on a whole 'nother level!!

Well, I can only speak from personal experience (a whopping 2 days *lol*), but I think you have it right. While there are exceptions, I think that I had originally viewed this as an extension of my profile (which is pretty slim right now, but that's another subject). And not so much of a forum for letting the world get to really know me.

Of course, things took a bizarre change and I decided to post random thoughts and such, but that wasn't the original intent. Heh.

I think that a site like this breeds a little bit of competition. I think that people would be more inclined to open up a bit about themselves and show off their better qualities. (No pun intended, but it's hard to stand out when all you ever see are 8x4" cocks all over the place. *LOL*) So it's actually kind of surprising that there aren't more "personal" blogs than just blow-by-blow accounts of what you did over the weekend.
