Ok, how can HE apply makeup better than I can???

Okay. So, Austin is on the wierd side sometimes and we have some of the most unique individuals here....

Went to a book store last Saturday and I was just amazed by this guy behind the cafe counter who had wonderfully thick eyelashes and eyeliner on to boot!

I was wondering how could he apply his eye makeup and have better eyes than I can??? It is insane!!! and not quite fair!!!

lol...

What do you do to get perfect eyes???

wanakissuallover - Ahhhh... thanks! I am also a believer of not much makeup; my skin loves it. I have developed a small case of roscea though which makes me need to apply some makeup from time to time when it gets intense (sort of like putting mud on rudolph's nose). I have a makeup bag of sorts that is full...but, it is generally of stuff to take the redness out, bring out my eyelashes, or remove oily areas (this Texas heat can do it at times). The motto that Bauhaus had in his architecture certainly does apply to makeup as well, "Less is more." It seems that you also proved that to be the case as well!

I used to catch hell, from my aunts, whenever i grew my hair out (i've lost alot of the curl i used to have). I'd have ringlets just by washing then bushing out my hair and letting it air-dry. They hated me for all the hours of work they had to put in on their hair when i didn't do anything much to mine.
I'm also a beauty school drop-out (remember that "Grease" song?) but when i was in school, we did make-up one day and as i was one of the only guys at school then and we had an even # of students that day, i actually got to participate. We did the whole facial thing start to finish. When i got through with my friend i was hoping i'd done a good job, but was blown away by the reaction. They took the girl out to the front (where the more advanced students were already working on live-non-student-customers) to show her off and let everyone know that i'd done her make-up. I'm a big believer in a little goes a long way. I just put on her what she told me she wanted out of her make-up bag. Too many girls/women use way too much. Don't know if i could do it again now, it's been way too long, but it was a great experience to make a young lady look lovely and have everyone notice it w/out using lots of make-up.
As i haven't seen (that i know of) any facial shots of you (in or out of make-up) i can't comment on how your application looks.
Just going by your personality here, i'd say it would look great anytime.

So far I never did anything. I have had women comment on how my blue eyes really look good naturally, and my eyelashes are nice and dark and somewhat longer than a normal man's lashes. They just seem to like my eyes. When I transgender though, look out babe, I'm really going to make up for lost time. LOL I'm going to try to really dazzle people.

wyvernrose - You are sooooo very lucky to have dark, full eyelashes. BTW, you should have a picture posted of your eyes sometime... I bet everyone would like to see those shining eyes of yours as well.

ANewLevel4Us - Well, I have to wear mascara or else noone would see that I have eyelashes!!! lol... However, I am generally low maintenance as well on the other makeup stuff... I don't like heavy applications of too much of anything on my face....

i've had a few women tell me they's kill to have my eyelashes. They're really full and long (I guess God was digging in the bottom of the pecker barrel on the day He made me, so He gave me long eyelashes and big hands as consolation prizes. LMA

But I don't know anything about putting on eye make up. I'd probably poke my eyes out if I tried.

Ok...I love makeup so this is my trick. I love smokey eyes in the evening...soft black pencil eyeliner bottom lid and smoked. Top lid black liquid liner and let dry. Over top pencil eyeliner smoked. I prefer warm tones, golds and bronzes and blacks..blend it all together and you can't go wrong. Top it off with black mascara and let dry between coats...outer lashes longer than inner lashes...(sorry, lost control!)

I usually just apply eye liner. Mascara makes my eyes irritated so I rarely use it. I usually use a q-tip to make the line really fine after application. Other than that, I am very low maintanence as far as makeup goes.

I flirt. If I'm lucky, she looks me in the eye.
