Nostalgia - Does it increase with age? or for the young at heart?

Keithcancook commented that his first was in 1967 on another post of mine today...and I commented that mine, too, was back in 1977. Even though there is a 10 yr difference in that is really a moot point.

Just curious though.... Do people that were born in 1977 and afterwards still think about their firsts just as much as I do? Are firsts really that important to people? or am I just too nostalgic about things.

I had my camera with me on a trip and a person observed my sentimentality in taking photos. I don't feel that there is anything wrong necessarily that I love taking photographs for memory. It adds food for thought -- and memory.

Another Thought: Do you think that people who are more nostalgic are also people who are more sensitive?

Curious to hear more....

Yeah I still think about my first. It is and always will be a very special memory. I think firsts are important to people that are say 25 and older, the younger generation doesnt seem to put a whole lot of emphasis on that at least from what I have seen. I kind of thend to agree also that people that are more nostalgic than other are a little more sensitive
