Love Ranch?

No, the picture above isn't of the ranch. It is a picture of my travels in the Texas highways during the past 6 months; however, the LOVE RANCH is real. I saw a gate sign while travelling the highways today and, as the wheels of my mind started turning as I thought about how interesting the name of the ranch is, I began to think about the possibilities --

Are the owners' names actually Love???

Did they name it Love Ranch because they are marriage counselors? or just merely that they are so in love with one another???

Perhaps, they are also the owner of a corporation that makes sex toys? and, if so, what type of sex toys would that be???

You see, LOVE RANCH could connotate many meanings. What meaning do you think that it might represent???

Just curious...

Well, you might have to read one of my much earlier posts to get idea of my "Cocktails & Dreams" type of place with an adult theme. I think that it might be something similar -- if it is an adult theme.

Of course, this is all pure speculation. Are there any takers to venture with me on this ranch to find out the meaning behind the naming of their ranch????

Hi Rose,

Nice topic with lots of interpretations.

I have not meet anyone with the surname "Love" but there are families with the surname "Love".

So the ranch owners' surnames could be "Love". Not very interesting in itself, just a surname like anybody else.

Not knowing the owner's of the Love Ranch, a major of the time the ranch is named after the owners or something that is associated with the owners on a personal level.

It would seem like a great ranch to visit, if it is of an adult theme, meeting new people for mutual enjoyment.

So, tell me what do you envision this ranch to be in your mind?

Thank you, thank you very much and have a nice weekend,

SMM4M.

sexyfitwoman - Hmmmm... Didn't really think of that option; however, I guess it is certainly a possibility. It is out in the middle of no where; but, that could be a plus, if it is.

Hmmm....

Wise men know when to duck. And when to run.

It keeps that wisdom ALIVE around an angry woman. Otherwise, heavy objects have been known to be used to remove it, along with their brains.

LOL, sensualtouches3!!! Why duck and run??? lol....

It is my experience that I agree to disagree with the person I might be having an arguement with; however, all the while, secretly grinning to myself knowing that I was right all along!!! lol.....

Have a great day!!!

With my inquiring mind, Cowboy_Deluxe, I would certainly be up to figuring that one out too!!! lol.... When I was growing up, I was the one driving my parents crazy with the, "But, why????"

Thank goodness, my parents had lots of patience...

I'll toss my vote for that being their last name.

But, I agree with Cowboy.. Why the hell do they call it a 'dude' ranch? It's a make-believe world so that, generally, wimps and clueless idiots can go play at being a 'cowboy'. The real thing is NOT glamorous or fun - but is hard work, dirty, and fluctuates between dangerous and outright boring with sporadic moments of true fun.

Although dreamseeker hits pretty close to home - as any of us guys will have to acknowledge. Having lost a few fights (does anyone ever really win in a fight/argument with their significant other?), I can say that sometimes we just have to grin and nod, 'yes, baby', 'I love you', and let her 'win' (even though she's often wrong)

Don't look at me that way, rose!!

*ducks and runs*
