In working a 24hr shift...

I am allowed to watch tv; however, sometimes, there just isn't a thing on tv so I take some VHS tapes with me to watch some movies.

Today, at a grocery store, I found some on sale for $2.99 -- so I bought five:

1. BOYS ON THE SIDE (w/Whoopi Goldberg, Mary-Louise Parker, & Drew Barrymore) "A motion picture that celebrates the art of survival, the gift of laughter, and the miracle of friendship."

2. THE NEXT BEST THING (w/Rupert Everett and Madonna) "Best Friends make the Best Mistakes"

3. OLIVER STONE'S ANY GIVEN SUNDAY (w/Al Pacino, Dennis Quaid, Jamie Foxx, Cameron Diaz, James Woods, LL Cool J) "As good as movies get"

4. ELECTION (w/Matthew Broderick & Reese Witherspoon) "Reading. Writing. Revenge."

5. KISSING A FOOL (w/David Schwimmer, Mili Avital, & Jason Lee) "There are three sides to every love story"

Doe anyone have any recommendations for what I should view first?????

Curious....

alice593 - Hmmmm... didn't see your list b/4 I went to work.

LIBlonde97 - I saw "Election" first last night. It was cute and seeing Reese Witherspoon and Matthew Broderick in a different limelight -- so devilish!!! Definately indicative of those who have power struggles... lol.. Started to watch Next Best Thing, but the drama was picking up and had too many interuptions. Maybe soon.... but, it sounds like "Boys on the Side" is probably a definate consideration for the next movie to see....

"Boys on the Side" was def good. I thought "Election" was great, not many of my friends saw it; it was a little darker than I had thought it would be. "Kissing a Fool" was a good, mindless, romantic drama. Haven't seen the others yet.

1. "Boys on the Side"
2. Oliver Stone's "Any Given Sunday"
3. "The Next Best Thing"
4. "Kissing a Fool"
5. "Election"

That would be the order I would see them, base on what I read after the list of actors.

I've only seen one of those and that was "Any Given Sunday". I found it a stirring movie, made me want to get out on the soccer field and kick a few goals. Well, you have to transpose it to the sports you're really interested in. It might fire you up, when you are flagging, give you a second wind.
