If you don't know me by now...

After more than 50 pages of blogs, you should know me quite well, I would think. There are many people offering lists of things about themselves, however, I have no clue what you would still want to know about me.

For instance, (1) would anyone care really that I sleep sideways in my bed when noone else is with me? Something that I started after my husband died nearly three years ago.

(2)Would anyone want to know that I sleep with my bedroom lamp on...
or to the sounds of the tv, if noone is with me???

(3) I like ranch dressing with my pizza...
and my ramon noodles that I cook in the microwave.

(4) My favorite colors are purple, green, and blue.

(5) I have been on a mission trip to Guatemala.

(6) I was taught Spanish by my Grandma and folks used to call me Katrina? (Although I have no temperment linke Hurricane Katrina.)

(7) I come from a long lineage of Sunday School teachers.

( 8 ) I played the piano for 15 years, but wish I had a piano to continue playing on.

(9) I have accompanied church choirs, church musicals, school plays, and school choirs with my piano abilities.

(10) My first camera was a Brownie camera (the kind you look down into).

(11) My first car was a 1970 New York Chrysler and my 10-speed Schwin bike stood up in the back seat just fine!

(12) I am the oldest of 4 children of my family (it would have been 5 children but one died in Maryland).

(13) I was an army brat for a short time before my Dad went to VietNam and while he was in VietNam.

(14) I loved to refer to my Dad's occupation as "he cuts up people".

(15) My sister and I made hundreds of styrofoam ornament balls one year when we were both sick at the same time with toncilitis (and my Mom still puts them up on the Christmas tree each year).

and so much more. But, what do you really want to know about me that you haven't read about me thus far??????

Just curious....

redswallow777 - Funny. When you stated that these silly lists are often what we think are important; it isn't necessarily that I thought that these little known facts about myself are important at all, which is the reason it hasn't been the subject matter of blogs in the past; however, they are insights into who I am as a person (some of my interests, some of my background which explains the "why" of my nature, etc.).

Perhaps, it is the things that we don't think about to ask a person. Sometimes, it is like being in a classroom and not knowing what to ask because you haven't been given any information yet to stimulate some further questions or pause for ponderment.

I am glad you enjoyed reading my lists none-the-less. Hope you are having a great weekend...

Interestingly enough I find these "silly" lists very informative and if you think about it rightly so. They are lists of what we think is important not what someone else thinks is important. Thanks for sharing both lists....just a few more important pieces in the puzzle.

molittle69 - Interesting question. I noticed that you don't have a blog. Is it because you are reluctant to sharing your soul???

There are many reasons I share my soul (and, in no particular order):

1. I feel that God has intended on me sharing my soul with others so that they can feel the love eminating from me and, perhaps, be guided by it or inspired by it;

2. I love to write. Authors often experiment about their writing styles by writing about what they know the most about. For me, the "thing" I know most about is me, as well as the people, places, and things I come in contact with.

3. I feel that I have much to give. Expressing it through writing is one mode of being able to share myself with others.

4. I don't want to die without anyone knowing anything about me. I want to share with people my beliefs, my dreams, my ambitions, etc.

5. When I was young, I would often think that people just don't understand me. One way of my working out my frustrations was through my journals. It is very relaxing and soothing to be able to write in journals. Now that I have "grown up", I still like to journalize; however, I have now taken a slightly different approach in the blogging world.

You are wrong about not being able to see the true nut tree in the rest of the forest; through the blogging, I have met many fine men and found some "true nut trees" in the midst of the forrest. Whether or not it has truly led me to the one true nut tree; however, one doesn't know whether or not true love is out there waiting for them if they don't take a risk and try to make a pathway through the forrest.

The "forrest" can be the world of the bloggers on AdultFriendFinder, bloggers on other sites, a club full of people, an event in town, and so many other options. The one "true nut tree" isn't going to be revealed if you don't take a chance to make yourself known in the forrest.

I hope that you will take a chance to blog whenever you can. Even fortune cookies can have good meanings; however, I think it probably means that, if you don't make the effort, you will never find the "true nut tree" in the forrest.

Good luck in finding your true love - wherever that might be!!

I loved the brownine camera. I remember taking it to UT too when I was in college... and took some really cool pics of the UT Tower with it on the 120 film....

I found the tidbit on the brownie camera to be most fascinating. Could you expound on that one some more?

You sure are an interesting person. I really go for former owner/operators of Brownie Cameras!
