Good Thing - Bad Thing Games

We all play the game as children. One starts off with a comment, the other says, “That is good”. Then the first one states, “No, that is bad because...”. Do you remember it???

It certainly came to my mind this morning as I arrived home and awoke in my car this morning…

GOOD: I have put in more than 40 hours of work between all of my jobs this week so far.

BAD: When I got off of one job, I was so tired that I wasn’t sure how I got home.

GOOD: I did get home though.

BAD: I fell asleep for just a “few moments” because I was so drained.

GOOD: I did wake up and go upstairs to my apartment.

BAD: I fell asleep again as soon as I saw my bed.

GOOD: I got some well deserved and sound sleep for a change.

BAD: I was late for my next job.

GOOD: I saved some lives of kids by giving them lectures about running around and underneath an 18 wheeler!

BAD: They are going to be reported on by the Police Department and their school principal.

GOOD: Perhaps, they will learn their lessons and live a long life.

ANYHOW, you get the drift.... and a description of part of my day so far. I am off and running to my next job, albeit a little better rested.

Looking forward to hearing your comments.....

and some good things/bad things that have been happening along your way.

(*sigh*) Yes. It seems as though the most interesting folks are the furtherest away from you. Why is that? Is that part of the grass is always greener in the other pasture???

I have met 2 guys from great distances through AdultFriendFinder. Both about 1100/1200 miles away. I never regretted meeting either one; and one of them I am still bantering with.

Hhmmm... sometimes I think it is all about how much of a risk taking you are if you find yourself travelling distances to meet others; and, whether or not you can go without high expectations in order to not be disappointed terribly if it doesn't work out 100% as envisioned.

BTW.... interesting picture. Very intriguing in a sense...

Good: Job is going well.
Bad: Not enough hours in the day.

Good: Daughter moved out.
Bad: Daughter moved out. (still conflicted about this one)

Good: Totally infatuated.
Bad: Didn't sleep for 2 days. (didn't really care, lol)

Good: New puppy training is going well.
Bad: Puppy is the size of a small horse and will eventually begin training me. He'll double in size and can already drag me round the neighborhood. (sigh)
