Going from fast to slow....

that is what my daughter is going through now. After spending a week in NYC and enjoying the fast pace lifestyle and walking everywhere she went, she is finding some withdrawals already and feeling like a bum because she isn't walking nearly as much here at home. (She just got back yesterday afternoon!)

It would be the same for anyone who visited a city of any type and then go back to the country lifestyle of living.

Personally, I love the country lifestyle...if only I could afford that lifestyle; maybe one of these days. Ideally, I would love to build a house on a 275 acre ranch like my grandparents did many moons ago (only when they did, it didn't cost quite so much). Maybe I'll make it big someday or win the lottery.

One day...

We all have our dreams.

My daughter is now trying to figure out how she can go to one of the universities up there and live with my brother. Hmmm.....

And, then I can go visit the both of them!!!

Oh, well.....

With the weekend coming up, I have had enough of the fast pace that my week had brought to me...and I am sooooo looking forward to a relaxed couple of days.

Hope your weekend is all that you would like it to be....whether it is the fast pace or slow pace that you are looking forward to.....

anacortes - Nope. Cedar Park..... North by northwest of Austin!

PS... We'll see... My brother seemed excited to have her up there at first...then the reports dwindled.... I am not sure if he was exhausted by her...a New Yorker for the past 12 years or so who is supposed to be used to the fast paced lifestyle.... lol...
