Back on the 18th last month I attended a retreat at a local spa not too far from where I live. While there, I discovered they have lymphatic massages, which is supposed to be a part of my health treatments; however, I haven't been able to afford to do so on a regular basis since I have no insurance.
At any rate, after having the massage, I took a shower and then went into the sauna. While there a woman walked in there that was a personal life coach who happend to be out there giving lectures. We got to talking about exercise and told her that I had been able to find a personal trampoline off of MySpace's classified ads for free which I had hoped that would help my legs get more exercise without being too rough on my knees. Bouncing on it is about all that I can do at this time.... lol....
It ends up, though, that she also had lymphedema as a result of trauma to her legs a few years back and her legs are more normalized. That was soooo very encouraging to hear from her. I have heard so many negative things about it; I was real discouraged that anything would be able to improve from my swollen legs.
I also told her that I was about to get a free recumbant bike (valued at $300) off of the Kaboo's classifieds and had ordered weights from Hampton Fitness Products for a really reasonable price. I was looking forward to getting those things in my home as well.
Recently, I have been able to pick up a bicycle for free off of Craig's List and picked it up the same day as I did the recumbant bike. Right now they are still in my car because they are heavy and my dolly is presently loaded up with trash from me going through mega counts of boxes in my home; however, I do hope to resolve that soon -- well as soon as "Thing 1" and "Thing 2" (my two cats who are really named Gibson and Cash) quit knocking down boxes and stacks of things as fast as I get them organized!! LOL...
The other day my weights have arrived that I ordered 5-6 weeks ago. I have been using them for my arms, wrists (pull ups with fingers to especially work on my left hand that was also broken in two places in the car accident two years ago), and strenthening my back. Sure feels good. I have the 5lb weights by my computer for various sitting exercises... and my 3lb weights by my bed for various other exercises/stretches when I get out of bed and while getting dressed for the day... and before bed.
A friend has mentioned that he'll give me an exercise ball....
Soon, I just might have my own exercise circuit in my own apartment!!!
Don't think I'll get too crazy on the exercise thing or be doing any flash dances, but it is sure feeling good after sitting so much at work to be able to move around a bit....and keeps me from just sleeping the rest of the day away when I do get home. The bed can just look way too inviting at times!!

A mini trampoline is very good for your entire body. I'd love to get one. On a molecular level, it rejuvenates every cell in your body. (I kid you not) Been researching this for some time now.
I knew it was good for something!! A friend said that he was posting his for sale (on eBay, I think) and asked if, I'd like another one!! LOL...
Told him, yeah, I could just hop from one to another (after all, he refers to me as an energizer bunny with all the jobs I have)! LOL....
If I could gather up enough of them I can put them all over the floor and never have to touch the ground!! LOL....
