Charlie Wonka Movie Flaw???

Just curious as to anyone who has seen the movie as to what flaw or flaws they found with the movie itself.

The flaw I saw has something to do with the movie itself -- some scenes that it filmed. There are probably others, but there is one that I keep replaying in my mind and, to me, there is no way that they could have perceived that it was right.

Can you guess what that might be????

Just curious...

jim5131 - EXACTLY... I was thinking the same thing...it was probably the hair style and the drab face look. Gene Wilder was the greatest!!

ps I, too, have been extremely disappointed in the movies this summer. Normally, in the summer I go to a few... and, the Charlie Wonka one I went just to be able to do something with my daughter....

I've been REALLY disappointed in the movies this summer. All remakes. Nothing original. I like 'Crash', though. My youngest son and I were in a market survey for 'Bewitched' last year, so we knew about it long before the promos came out....I think I said that I would go to it in the survey. I lied.

I think Gene Wilder is too hard an act to follow. And in the previews, didn't Johnny Depp's character remind you too much of Michael Jackson? Creepy. Sorta Edward Scissorhandish.

redlipsprincess - All very good observations, but not including one of the other observations that is reviting through my mind still....

alice593 - Well... let me know.... Too me, it is much too obvious.

Haven't seen it yet, but plan to. Maybe I can e-mail you if I catch the flaw you are talking about.

Willy Wonka tells the children that the Oompa Loompa cannot tolerate cold weather, however there is a scene where they are seen working in the snow.

At the beginning of the movie it's seen that the Golden Ticket is placed on the backside of the chocolate bars but as the tickets are found by Augustus and Charlie found theirs on the top of the bars.

Willy Wonka was shown going home after trick or treating, he is carrying a pillowcase with his candy. In the next scene his father dumps the candy out of a plastic pumpkin, not a pillowcase.

Willy Wonka is seen to have very striking blue eyes as an adult. However, in flashbacks as a child, his eyes are dark brown.

Willie Wonka is eating the slime from the green bugs in Oompa-Loompa land, his tongue is already green when he takes his first bite of slime.

Charlie finds the golden ticket, a man offers to buy it from Charlie for fifty dollars and then a woman offers five hundred dollars. If Charlie lives in England, shouldn't the currency be in pounds?
