A very good question.....

74ShovelHD, stated in his newbie blogpost, “In this wonderful blogging world of honesty...I am curious to know what everyone thinks about the signals we send out...based on some experiencese I had earlier tonight.

When does being friendly cross over with coming on to someone??? When does a friendly gesture become a sexual gesture??? Do we flirt for fun or are we purposely trying to seduce each other?

And finally, when we are attracted to someone, can we consiously control the signals we send out?”

I responded by how I felt, by stating:

A lot of the online blogging is done in good fun and jest; if something more intimate is considered, then one takes it "off line" (meaning IM or AFFmail that someone to see if there is additional interest).

I had one guy interested in me online through the blogging...we took it offline and dated 2-3 times a week for a little more than a month. He took offense to what another of my blogfans had said to him... so he stopped blogging and or commenting on my site any more. Truly, I don't think that the other blogfan truly meant what he said in the context that the guy I ended up dating for a bit took it. Oh, well.

We are all friends first on the blogsite.... some of the AFFbloggers have probably been intimate with one another before blogging through the AFFblogsite because the AFFblogsite didn't exist until February of this year.....

I am not sure what the other AFFmembers who are blogging will suggest to you, but (speaking from my own experience) take the romance off line for the most part. Too many emotions flare up unnecessarily unless they are extremely mature about it.

Sometimes the bantering with someone can be just as stimulating as if you were having sex with them at times. If you are sincerely interested in someone that you have been bantering with and feel that connection, it is easier to take it offline to discuss whether or not there is anything more to it and set the signals straight.

Enjoy and have fun with the blogging... It can be quite interesting, stimulating for the mind and soul, and -- who knows, you might find the interaction with that special someone a great possibility for a worthwhile connection for now or in the future....

Good luck....

TxRose

I hope that I wasn't speaking out of turn; however, while this is a sex website, I believe that part of the beauty of the blogs is that everyone is able to freely discuss sex in a very open and candor manner. Right??????

I know that I have flirted with a few; some are probably sending out some sort of signals while some are just being lighthearted and flirtatous (which is exemplifying who I am personality wise). I hope that I haven't been the one to needlessly led anyone on through my blogs. However, I have been known to communicate offline to set some signals straight and/or pursue possiblities -- and they continue reading my blogs (so I must be doing something right).

I do cherish my friendships that are developing on my blogsite and look forward to it continuing for a while to come.

Any other comments about the power of seduction and signals through our AFFblogs????...

Rose dear, You captured much of the essence of blogging, and the whole online "relationship" thing as well. Well said.
And you have done nothing awkward in your blog at all that I've encountered. I'm still visiting.....

4nik8_4u - WHO ARE YOU CALLING CHILDISH????? Just kidding...

I know that you weren't directing it at me; and, as a rule, on AdultFriendFinder people are generally upbeat and not argumentative. Love your blogs as well... keep up the good work!!!

Thanks, artistforexploit!!! I do agree that, as the blog continues, part of the personality and a sense of who they are definately emerges. I wish more people would truly get into blogging......they certainly have no idea about the very interesting venue that they are missing out on.

TxRose!

The AdultFriendFinder mods are editing everything again. If I post the word "vagina" my article or blog gets denied until I change it.

Kind of hard to do this when they deny something so stupid.

Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?

The blogs here are a great way to get to know one another a little better. As the blog continues, one gets to see the person who writes it from the accumulative blogs & a sense of who you are emerges.
Flirting, don't we all do that naturally? Especially most people here?
I know that I'm a natural flirt, otherwise my life would just suck so bad, because I believe that a woman should make the choice to have me or not, my job is to initiate the interest & the rest is up to her, (at least the selection process).
I don't know about taking it offline, but I know that if I did, that anything that I might have to say about it online would be in the best light & their true identity would remain secret, as I have done so far in my blog reflections. Discretion is the best choice as is civility, anywhere, anytime.
Love your blog...

That was a great insight into blogging, I enjoy many of the blogs here because they're funny, sad, and very often informative. I do not have my own for some of the reasons you stated, I feel it could put a strain on a relationship I'm currently having, but thankfully there are those of you who throw caution to the wind and keep us entertained..THANKS TO ALL!!

I know that everything I have said has been truthful when it was supposed to be truthful and fun and flirty at other times. I hope that everything I have said has been taken in the context in which it was intended. I can honestly say I have never made a negative comment about anyone, even when exposing deceptive things that person had done. I'm here to have some fun not berate or belittle anyone, and I wish that everyone would just be honest and upbeat. It does seem childish when you go to a blog for the first time and you see people quarreling on here. You have to fight the urge to jump in and say GROW UP PEOPLE! Now that I have said I hope no one will berate me for calling them childish!

I think the blogs are a true blessing. In a world of confusion, images and constant msigivings and hard situations professionally Ive found it a gem to be able to blog. After a while of doing so, Ive decided to lay it all out there on my blog and let it takes its course. I think it can be anything someone wants it to be, a sharing moment, a way to ask questions or make statements or as for me, release yourself completely and openly and share the deepest parts of your thoughts, desires and truth...sexual or otherwise.

I think it is a blessing an i am thankful for it and for all of you bloggers!!!

I think your right about the blogs... they're a fun, say what ever's on your mind, open discussion. And I think here on AdultFriendFinder, we're free to be as direct as we want, or send subtle messages.

BTW Rose... your pics really make me want to reach out and fondle that boob of yours
