Two mice... one pointer.

I had my USB mouse fail after getting a splash of tea on FRI. So I got another. Now with 2 mice what would you expect? Two pointers separately controlled?

No. One pointer controlled by BOTH mice concurrently. The devices send the same controlling signals to the mouse driver.

Evaporation has rejuvenated the bad mouse.

The new mouse was erratic on the USB hub. I kept having to unplug it and plug it back in to reset it. This worked last night while chatting, but a better fix was to use the other USB port on the computer not taken by the hub.

(Everyone in need of a closer-UP of my pointer got one.)

It took awhile but I am beginning to process locations that condone fucking in public. So far, its no like counting sheep... the Palomino bar may have progressed to it but I need confirmation.

LOL My co-worker and I both have cordless mice. It didn't matter when we were both in opposite parts of the building. But they moved me to the front office to the desk next to him. He is working one day and notices that his cursor is moving without his assistance. He's getting frustrated so he reboots. Well, after he rebooted, no problem. The next day I'm answering email and just doing my job when he stops me and says "Look, it's doing it again." But when I looked over it wasn't happening. This happens three times before he looks at me and then at my mouse. Realization dawned in his eyes. My mouse was controlling his cursor. It had stopped the day before because I had left. So we had to do some swapping because our mice were both the same brand. So I swapped with our accountant and that fixed the issue. But boy was it funny watching him freak out. He thought he'd been hacked or something.
