There isn't very much I like about Texas weather. I don't enjoy 110 degree weather with 90% humidity. It sucks to be more exact. We have 2 seasons for the most part- Hot and really f*&ckin hot.

There is about a 2-3 week period each year that I can say I enjoy. It is our spring. The sun is shining, the temps are in the low 80's, and the wildflowers are in bloom. I have vivid memories as a teenager on roadtrips in the spring driving past miles and miles of Texas bluebonnets. The bluebonnet fields are so thick you just want to pull over, get out, and roll around in them( it's illegal to pick or destroy them so that would be a big no no)

Even now in the suburbs along the side of the roads the bluebonnets, poppies, Indian paintbrush, etc are in full bloom. It's a beautiful sight and I wish it lasted more than a few weeks.

See, that really sucks. I NEED my seasonal changes. We get all of them here. And as much as I hate winter, it makes the nicer weather that much better.

The Dude.

PS- missed you around lately, glad to see you back around
