Pet Parent

I am a pet parent of 4 lovely, adorable ,furry little ones. One of my babies had to have surgery this past week. You would have thought I was worrying over a relative or close friend the way I carried on. I called the vet throughout the day for updates, I worried about surgical complications, I stressed about whether she was scared and feeling abandoned. When she came home I made sure she had a warm blanket and fluffy pillow as she laid next to me on the sofa. Everytime she whimpered or cried from the pain my heart broke

She is doing fine, almost back to her old over-exuberant,loving self. I love coming home at the end of a hard day to have my dogs greet me with a tail wag and a kiss while my cats pretend they couldn't care less but follow me throughout the house . Each one of them has their defined personalities and I can't imagine not having them around. The world is a much better place with cold dog noses and kitty kisses

I dont think that is strange at all, my family is the same way with all our pets. As soon as they cross over that doorway for the first time, they are family. Glad she is doing fine, best wishes

it is the same with my family, as soon as a pet crosses the door they are family. My baby is back to her old self, getting into trouble, being a fashion doggie diva, and just plain loveable.
