My Three Sons

You remember that 60's television show with Fred McMurray and all those lovable guys? Well this is a day in the life of "Tennismaiden". Same idea...different station...sit back and TUNE in!

I have three boys and yet another foster sharing a home making that 4 testosterone laiden, ball scratching jokesters that can make my life a living hell. They are mostly grown (well that's questionable) pursuing something that might allow them to finally leave the nest to sit and write out their own damn check for the enormous heating bill I just paid last night.

These boys can eat...I mean it....shove more rediculous sustinance in their bellies then a mid Western "American" on a holiday cruise ship bound for now where. Some months I can spend up to $1000.00 or more and making the venture to the grocery store still such a nightmare. They'll even call me while I'm there to add a few more requests to the already "OUTTA" control cravings.

My boys are everything to me, more so when they were small and less now that I'm trying to wean them off mama's tit. (Oh did I say I nursed all three and still have spectacular jugs?) Well....yes, what would you expect from the illustrious "Tennismaiden"? These kids have been a light for me, they tease me constantly and will (if I don't get my act together) send me to re-hab for bloggers anonymous.

I'm a bit nervous when I turn on the computer each day logging in here and sit behind this screen where millions of cocks are flashing my boys. I know they have their own but catching their mother in the act of oggling is more information then they care to know!

I remember the many mornings at 4 am loading up the car with the gigantic bags that carried their ice hockey equipment. PEEEEEUUUUUWWWWW...have you ever smelled that shit? Rotting flesh and sweat all moist and damp from a fresh run at practice? OMG this sport is definately something one must love in order to get by the foul malodorous stench. The rosy cheeks and boyish grins on their faces after coming off the ice was all I needed to endure yet another encounter with the entombed deadly hockey gear. How delighted I was to not only support thier beloved activity but make wonderful "buddies" at the many ice arenas around the country.

I swear giving birth to the little monsters is what fried my brain, I cannot remember anything of value, no cute little adorable jokes (I always screw up the punch lines) Certainly no history...I shake my head nodding in agreement when having a discussion, and no recollection of my life with my ex (hey maybe that's a good thing?)

Much of my study of men has come from raising my boys, just wee little pee pees wanting to show off their fantastic abilities. The guys are continually embrassed by me, they haven't a clue how difficult it will be to marry a woman "just like mom" Funny how Freud always is a recurrent theme. I am grateful for much in my life, these children gave me purpose, and still test my spirit everyday with another 13 loads of laundry piled high blocking the door to the garage.

I will sorely miss them when they are living on their own, and remember with fondness the phrase "mom...are we THERE yet"?

To Victor, Sean, Daniel and Jon, I gave you is your time to live it joyously, I love you with the very essence of who I am. Now....go clean your rooms you little brats!

I know I cannot hit on you since I'm heterosexual but do you mind if I hit on one of your sons? Joking. I am sure you are a great mother and nothing beats the joy of giving birth to your babies. Have a nice day!!

Maiden, so much insight and wisdom there! Parenthood is highly complicated and incomparably inconvenient, but what is more rewarding?

I hope your boys find women very like you - smart, sexy and beautiful!

I was one of three boys. My poor mom, we gave her hell. I was, of course the black sheep of the family and I still am. Some one has to keep poor mom on her toes!! You sound like a perfect mom! So will you adopt me?? Then you won't have to look at the pictures on your cumputer (note the spelling)you can look at me!

and you think that foul smelling and filthy kit bags are just a male virtue. Hah, I say, hah hah.

I had to take my oldest daughter to get her annual physical yesterday and as I was dropping her off at school I heard the words "Daddeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, would you.........."

In this case it was "please (her manners are excellent) wash my soccer gear, I forgot to take it home last night." Being as she is my little (actually big) princess, I said ok. She returned to my truck with two Nike kitbags that must have weighed 40lbs apiece.

She had:

6 (that's right) pairs of cleats that looked more like bricks there was so much mud on them.
4 soccer shirts in various and sundry stages of disintergration
12 pairs of (used to be) white socks that just went into the garbage
4 pairs of outer socks that had so much mud on them they could stand up
3 of my t-shirts that she had half-inched when my back was turned
2 soccer shorts - fortunately these are nylon
1 waterlogged soccerball
3 sets of shinguards covered in mud
2 mouth guards
4 energy bars in various stages of being consumed
several used bandaids
3 towels that she had wrapped around the soccer cleats
4 muddy training bras

I cannot imagine what her locker smells like, I think she has about 2 weeks worth of soccer and lacrosse training gear here. I will probably have to use a chisel to get the mud off of the cleats. The irony is,for years, it was her job to clean all my soccer equipment.

It is soooooooooo much fun (and expensive)to raise athletes, isn't it.

Nice tribute Tennis to yourself and your boys. Coming from a family of 3 boys (I'm the middle child ), I'm sure my mom can sympathize with you (trips to the hospital when "wrestling" with my older brother cracked my head on the fireplace; football practice at 5AM in August in HS; etc). And remember...Mom's are always supposed to embarrass the kids; that's your birthright

(mmmmm....jugs )

LOL! You're a great Mom! But alas, a mother's work is never done, till you find a poor unsuspecting female to take one on as a "hubby"... But of course, before you get used to being "free", the Grandchildren will start thier march through your door! HAHA! Isn't life grand? (You're awesome, Tennis! )...

TM ~ I'll bring the Overlord Protectors (Tim & Jake) to visit, too! There's no telling WHAT stories they'll share, especially since two-thirds of the Safira Trinity occasionally come up with comments for my blog posts!

GREAT POST, Girlfriend!

This is my blog - Comes With Warning Labels. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Wow where do I start I have to say you sure are something special whew and yes I remember My Three sons although my fav character was bud lol anyway I have spent hours reading your postings including "cocks on parade" that was very true and I agree with it completely lol most men don't have enough blood flow for one head to function alone with both lol and they way you speak my god.. very articulate and the way you verbalize your innerthoughts is something only man man could dream of having a woman like you with depth and a captivating mind as well as everything else that you have but I'm so attracted to just your mind at this point it's insane which is unusual to find especially here of all places I would love just to take you for coffee and just be able to conversate with someone like you I have to say you are honestly spellbinding in every way possible and if your voice is anywhere near what the rest of you is like wow some guy is sure blessed with you ... I really would love just to sit and chat with you I know everyone who reads this will think I'm insane or corny but I don't care you are really one of a kind and in this world of Jessica Simpson and Britney "wannabes" a breath of fresh air doesn't even come close to you , you are more like sweeter the honey dew drops in a summer's wind I just had to say all that sorry like I said...captivating you got it down ....Rob

P.S. if not coffee maybe juice? lol hell I'll take napkin folding with ya for all I care you're definetly worth every breath of you I would be able to breathe are Beautiful and a wonderful Mom

Yup, I remember My three Sons. Now I got that music in my head. And those tapping shoes.
I don't know if I ate my parent out of house and home when I was growing up but I went through a gallon of milk every day while I was playing soccer or pole valulting in High School.
I am currently in a womans world with a wife and daughter. Hell, even the two dogs and the cat are female. The bunny, which died years ago, was the only other male.
Our daughter did the Field Hockey thing for two years. Tried lots of sports and things but never stuck with anything for long.
There is going to be a big empty in your life when all the boys have gone. As it is, when our daughter goes to college next year the house will seem empty. And she is only one.
How nice of you to be a foster mom. Snaps to you. (you know snaps don't you? from Legally Blond)

As the eldest of 4 boys (3 in 4 years!), I'll remember this next time I see Mom (every other week or so) and hold that welcome HUG just a little longer, and when I leave, render that "Love You" with a bit of extra sincerely, if indeed that is possible. Thanks as ever for opening our hearts and eyes. {=}

Wow, is MY head big from your comment. Come to think of it, both of them have grown a size or two! I'd love to cum there and let you stick it anywhere you'd like (within reason, that is!).

Of course I'd need to know what part of NJ . . .
