Mov'in on UP!

I know this is SO pathetic! I check every once in a while to see if I'm movin up in the ranks. When I first began I was holding steady at 69 (huh figures right)?

It's not that I'm competitive or egotistical, or petty I just derive some sick perverted pleasure in seeing my name in LIGHTS!

I could begin writing smut or dish out some folksy newsy to get the much needed attentions of all those out there, but it is my style that ultimately draws you lovely people into my lair.

I checked out some new blogs this morning to see what was being submitted. I saw this lovely (actually gorgeous)blond 25 year old blogger that writes about world issues, media reports, statistics etc. She sure seems very intelligent and desirable for a young woman but then there weren't many comments on her blog. Are current affairs just not important enough for us to leave our little opinions? Or have we become so complacent to everyday life we have no thoughts to share regarding our sad state of affairs as a nation.

Well anyway...I must think hard about what topics for future titillation's I will post. Yeah I'm a blog whore and don't be surprised if it's some smut to boost my ratings. I want back on top and boy do I thrive on domination...just a little bit.

Anyone got any suggestions?

TM,

I think that the blogger you mentioned reading is one of the imfamous bots that are lurking around here in Blogville...forget about them. Most of them have it set up where only there friends can comment.

Keep on with what you're doing...many people here like reading what you write, okay?

Just my viewpoint...

Don't think I haven't thought about using that ploy...I'm not adversed to using the many tricks up my sleeve.

I am trying like heck to come up with some good ones but need many more experiences in order to report with precision accuracy to our fellow bloggers.

Care to be a test victim? Oh but thats right....Just did a gemini and I'm a bit spooked. LOL

I'm not even sure where to look where I might be situated TM (if/when I do a post, lately). At least you've made 69 (and that is a heck of a number to be stuck on, if you have to)

Topics are wide open for your future posts, as you know. You've done enough, and seen enough, to know what get's people to come and comment, so there's no need for advice (or at least not from me). And, you know you're 'regulars' will always show up and put in their two cents (or a half buck sometimes...lol).

Good luck on the climb on top...errrr...to the top

Here are three on which to ponder and see if anything erupts onto the page. I believe you write what you write, when you write, for whatever is moving you at the time. It is not for others but for self.

The greatest discovery of my generation is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitudes of mind. William James

If you have made mistakes, even serious ones, there is always another chance for you. What we call failure is not the falling down but the staying down. Mary Pickford

It's just human. We all have the jungle inside of us. We all have wants and needs and desires, strange as they may seem. If you stop to think about it, we're all pretty creative, cooking up all these fantasies. it's like a kind of poetry. , Northern Exposur

There are too many that visit our little blog parlor that take these musings WAY to serious. Could someone please explain the thought process behind an obsessed blogger?

I enjoyed the northern Exposure quote. Man you are a plethora of quotes! I love em all !!!!!!

First of all, having read many of your blogs...I find you personally tenacious in dealing what you've been through over time. What a delightful woman you are.
Secondly, I stay away from political blogs and issues just as I do religious ones. Emotional upheaval is one thing but some people cannot control themselves. Fanaticism about any issue except human rights is not a healthy state of life.
Keep on Blogging girl. You're doing a great job.

Joe
I tried to email you similar words but....(sigh>

rm_tennismaiden replies on 6/29/2006 5:04 pm:
Thank you Joe for being so brave and posting your comment. So many times we do see fanaticism and that can be pretty scary. I like middle of the road thinking, not too intense but full of introspection.

I'm not sure if anyone I know has dated or had an intimate encounter with a disabled person. I guess that would make interesting reading. All my subjects are disabled mentally. I'd like to get past that if I could......

You said: "Anyone got any suggestions?"
Here's one to throw at you.
Mental illness is a disability. There are many forms of disabilities. Physical disabilities are more visible but many times not as debilitating.
I'd love to see some post's about experiencing the dating and yes sex scene with a person with a disability. What would your expectations be? Could a person deal with the limitations? Does it effect physical attractiveness. Detract from who they are? Do people look down on you or feel sorry for you if you are disabled?
Interesting topic.
If you haven't' realized this yet..I'm a compassionate man.

Joe

You saw a member of the Stepford Blogbots. She's not real, and her posts are all cut and paste from the internet. Go take a look at SaintLianna's or EroticaXTC's blogs, they've examined the phenomena occasionally, as have I in a post where I wanted to know why the fakes are in the 'slots' at the top and I've never seen myself there.

As to the rankings, just post at least daily, maybe more, or write something that tears your heart out and collects 150 comments by itself.

I used to check, now I don't have the energy to stay there, and don't care.

rm_tennismaiden replies on 6/29/2006 5:16 pm:
My dear friend Kelli, I've seen you in the slots...really I have and you fabulous Daaaahling!!!

I shouldn't care either and at times when I could care less. But hell If I'm not getting laid at least I could be getting endorphins from being recognized.

You know I saw her blog too.. but she doesn't let ordinary people comment on her blog .. I think she only lets people in her network post comments. I have a feeling she would get more posts if she opened up her blog to the public, but then again its not posts that get you up in score is it? Isn't it views? Hell I don't know.. I'm just happy checking up on you and seeing whats happened in your life.
Sir

I was thrilled to chat last night...lets keep in touch.

As for standings what pushes us up are random bloggers or comments that are unique and not constant repeats or regulars. I think that's how I interperate the system.

But honestly it doesn't matter, our family is all that is important here.

I think your words belie a need for attention to some degree.

Otherwise you wouldn't even look at where you rank.

There are some people who touch on world affairs, but you will have to search for them, they are not popular bloggers.

The popular blogs aren't exactly the most intellectually stimulating.

If you want serious topics and world matters I suggest:

MissAnnThrope, header1979, Kofla...

I also have touched on politics in my blog.
