What are the odds

Is the act of lovemaking just that "an act" a deed to perform. We've all heard the expressions, husbandly/wifely duties, where is the romance in that. The guys leaving the bar to go home to the "ball and chain". Ladies toying with the emotions of prowling men. Like we are all predators looking for meat on the hoof and howling at the moon when the feasting is done. What happened to the caress, the stroke, the brush of the lips on a sensitive area. Where is the "slow and subtle" that lead up to the "fast and the furious" I like to go the edge of the cliff and look over the precipice before I jump into the deep end. I like the feeling of knowing it's coming and can't back out once I commit. I can only describe it like jumping off a cliff at night into a lake that you don't know well. You know it's OK but the darkness makes your heart pound, your senses brace and your emotions heightened as you run to meet your impending leap of faith. The air rushes passed your body and creates the roar in your ears as you leap out into the night. Then you become fully aware of the gravity aspect of this, the water is rising to meet you, The crack of your feet hitting the lake goes off in your head like a shot, it accepts you with minimal resistance yet you know that if you've fallen wrong it could mess you up for life. The water is warm as you go down but cools the deeper you go, or does it. You don't know. You're mind is busy doing the body part check (legs, arms, head, spine all intact) then you feel that something is missing. "AIR" you're surrounded by water. You're OK with it but you still have to breath. Up you go breaking the surface as if your being born. Air fills your lungs and you gasp loud enough to be heard in three counties. You think to yourself "Sweet Jesus" that was better than sex. But was it? It wasn't better than sex. "IT WAS" sex. Bring that feeling when you go home to your wife, husband, girlfriend, or boyfriend and then you'll have something more than an "act" you'll have an event.
