Where Do Blogs Come From..OK, You Asked For It!

sexyfitwoman has asked me on a couple of occasions where do I get this stuff? Surprisingly enough, I never gave a straight answer. I'm going to do my best to give one now.

I don't think I'm any different that anyone else in here. Things just pop into my head and I write about them. Granted, it helps to have a really lopsided head that borders on mellon size, but I don't think I do anything any differently than anyone else.

Maybe I am just less inhibited about commenting on touchy subjects. I tend to prefer the button pushers, the really hot ones everyone (with good sense and good taste) avoids. Also, I am the last person on the planet to take myself seriously. Nothing is off limits when it comes to me, my multi-faceted inadequacies, my massive 2 inch manhood, or the fact that even Gilligan has a better sex life than me!

Or maybe it's just the fact that I see a world few others see and even less reside within. My world is the obtuse where nothing is sacred. Well, few things.

OK, I feel bad about laughing at midget tossing events. But come on, that's funny stuff. Besides, the midgets aren't handcuffed or forced...they're participating freely. Probably.

OK, I also admit that I feel a little bad about making fun of my ancestors for evolving the forehead into a fivehead. I have the Herman Munster look and so do my kids. I guess I'm sorry for making fun of them too. But it's not like this is a one way street! Ever had your kids rub down your underwear with Vick's Vaporub? Talk about doing the Teaberry shuffle.

I write about the absurd because my world is absurd. I often wish I was as talented a writer as most of you are. I read your stuff and wonder how the heck did they think of this? What a great topic. Maybe we are all just in awe of each other.

TDA...It's not so bad being in awe of each other! Pretty remarkable if you ask me! Do you think the Bloggers here might have something to teach the rest of the world? Hmmmm...interesting thought! Interesting Blog Post topic!

Hugs!

Is there anyoe else here besides you and me who could actually do the Teaberry shuffle? Working that into a blog - BRILLIANT!

well said tall dark, but my crap does not hold a candle to your creativity. Maybe it is the slight differences between, added with the simularities make it fun. I often find blogs of I was thinking that, but not that way.

You are the best, please keep blogging away!

Everyone has their own style of writing , that is what makes it so intersting, if it was all the same it would be boring. and we all know what boredom leads to,TROUBLE,

we think, therefore we blog, or is it we don't think and blog anyway...........doesn't really matter why we do it, just as long as it gets done. I blog to get rid of some of life's frustrations, and if it strikes a chord, it may inspire you to let go of some of your own pent up feelings. TDA1, you are a funny man, and it has nothing to do with your looks. You make us think about stuff that may not have been important in our lives, only because we were never aware of it until you blogged about it. I speak for me, but others may agree, you are a breath of fresh air in a stale world......Thank You

Madness takes its toll. Exact change please!

I always feel so inadequate when I visit here... then I remember that I don't live in Indiana, land of 3 time zones, depending on the time of year.

TDA,

I can't say anything that has not been said before, but I cannot leave here without saying I find you outrageously funny. It is a wonder you are not writing for Leno or someone. Glad to have you here.

cheers

EM4M I think we certainly do have something going on in here. I see the same swabbles that occur in any family. What I think I see the most, among the things I like the most, everyone jumps in when one of us stumbles. Everyone extends their arms to pick us up, dust us off, and reassure us that everything will be OK.

OK...group hug!

Ned you're too kind...and it does have a lot to do with my looks. Were I normal, I probably would be married, driven her insane by now, and would be imprisoned due to my actions. Works out better this way.

LMAO Mi. Geez, the time zone thing...the higharchy is still unresolved about that issue. Here is how the legislators in Indiana see it: half want EST, half want CST, half want no changes whatsoever, and the final half want Bosco. So confusing.

Thank you QT, you're too kind. The Teaberry Shuffle is from an old old old (sorry Jay) old TV commercial for Teaberry gum. This gum was sooo terrific, that whenever anyone chewed it...they broke into dance. Hence the name. Unfortunately, the company went out of business, Americans quit chewing it, quit dancing, and we all gained weight. However, I could be wrong.

Sac you're most welcome. Although it is a tremendous burden dragging that massive package along where ever I go, I carry the burden with a song in my heart. Usually the "All we owe" song from the Wizard of Oz...and I pump my right arm in the same fashion the guards did.

The height of my forehead even alarms big screen TV owners. I've considered renting about half my forehead out to billboard advertisers. Who knows, maybe by fall I'll have a nice income subsidy!
