Skydiving Festival Brings Out Thousands Of Onlookers

Now tell me...who doesn't love watching skydivers? I know I do. A recent skydiving marathon in Asia brought out thousands of onlookers, well wishers, and enthusistic fans to see their favorites compete against the best the world has to offer.

The accuracy leg of the marathon featured simply, the best of the best competitors. In the top photo left you see the favorite in the accuracy competition, Sum Dum Gy, receiving much need water from his fans and well wishers as he passed the 99th floor of the recently completed Taipei 101 building in Taipei, Taiwan. Although some critisized Gy for not signing autographs, most others were just happy to see him.

Gy lost the compition when he miscalculated the landing zone by 2½ miles and wound up in the parking lot of a nearby Stuckey's. The vehicle owner was unavailable for comment.

TallDark,
I have often enjoyed your comments as I browsed through the blog of the queen supreme, Mz Huny, so I thought I might step over into your world for a few moments just to see what really goes on inside your mind. Very impressive. Quite articulate. I've been here for hours contemplating the universe and laughing my ass off. Your "Politically Correct" post was hilarious. Loved the pic with this post.
Warning: I'll be back to put my 2-cents-worth in every chance I get.

Siz those whacky Asian skydivers never get weather reports. I never understood that either. I'm thinking checking the wind factor is a good idea and so is wearing a parachute. But what do I know?

As someone else who has gotten head in a Volvo, I think someone should notify Mr. Sum that he's going about it all wrong...

.

Been a while since they last let me out into polite society. Resurfacing, catching a breath, & catching up.

And while I got my Broad-Brimmed Pimping Hat on, could I cajole all of y'all to Comment on, Alone In A Cloud? It's probably the best thing that I've written!

Lately...

Life I picked it up on my bootlegged satelite/cellphone setup. I think it may have been on BugTussle TV (channel 83 BugTussle Arkansas).
