My Family Tree Looks Like A Stalk Of Celery With No Leaves

I have posted a photo of my great great grandparents. Let me tell you a little bit about them. They were tailblazers in their day. As you know, I am of Native American heritage as the photo of great great grandma illustrates.

My grandfather was an inventor. He had a flushing toilet that was great. Unfortunately, the flushing toilet was invented in the 16th century by a fellow named Sir John Harrington. His first name refers to the device to this day. Well, back then Thomas Crapper was alleged to have invented it but actually did not. He was really just a plumber. However, due to misconception, today his name is also associated with the device. I am proud to say that due to good marketing, my grandfather's name is also associated with it. This is my great great grand dad, Festus Shitter.

My great great grandma was a direct decendent of Princess Pocahontas and carried a part of her name. As we all know, Native American's were often named by an event or occurance along with a decendeant. This is my great great grandma, Princess Pocaeyeball.

In their day they both were real party animals as well as an oddity. Together they rewote much of our Frontier History. Great great grand dad went on to fight in the Civil War. He fought for the West. Maybe one day we'll look at them in greater depth. Just thought I would share my family tree.

What an interesting post on the first day of autumn.

Please tell me there is no one in your family named Charmin.

ROFL!!! I bet you didn't even do this one intentionally.

They were tailblazers in their day.

A man that has ancestors that were tailblazers spending his time on a sex site...go figure.

Have tongue, will use it. Repeatedly.

Earlier today I did a google image search on the word "Twisted" for a post that I did re: Sainlianna's latest blog. The search resulted in a photo of an evergreen with a big twisted loop in it. Now I know - it must be your family tree. Another mystery explained. Thanks for clearing that up.

Yeah, I'm still [blog 1hotwahine]

That's appropriate. I figured you had to be descended from the "shitter" line... you've done them proud.

T I didn't. Wish I would have now. Actually, here in Indiana we don't call it the History Channel. Here it's called Current Events.

Woodstock thank you. It's tough to be a good shitter sometimes, but tradition is tradition.

As a Native American I am sure I should be offended somewhere. So, after I get done laughing my ass off, I will whipe the tears from my eyes and consider it!
