Is It Normal For A Guy 6'1" To Have An 11 Inch Penis??

expatbrit49 wrote a blog asking what type of blog prompts the most responses. Good point.

I think it all depends on the title. A snappy title prompts a reader to stop in and take a peek at what's written. OK, this title was a shameless trick. But, you are reading. Maybe this ploy works.

Sure does in advertising. Can't tell you how many times I've nabbed a World News Weekly to find out just how Madonna had Osama's love child. Now tell me, who can pass on a photo of the Vampyre Baby? Or the story about HUNG the Wonder Ape? Did Angelina really seduce Brad or is he just a slut puppy?

I think here in BlogLand, we're just one big family. We get a real kick out of each other's creativity, point of view, sense of humor, heartache, and day to day life. I cannot begin to tell you how many times I have been laughing out loud so hard tears are streaming down my cheeks from a blog, or a comment, or an exchange of comments. There's some really good stuff in here.

Who hasn't been touched and choked up by a story from one of our friends? We're one big family. So I think what prompts comments is this...our fundamental need to communicate. One of us has it when they wrote the blog and another has it when they read the blog.

So, how do I explain the high number of views VS the low number of comments? I have this theory about the ozone layer and space aliens...

Sometimes the blog says it all and a comment would only ruin it for everyone else...keep on blogging!

I agree, TDA! Many blogs here have made me laugh out loud, too! Some have also made me cry. And, some have really made me hot!

We really are one big family here in Blogville. And, I really think I have made some great friends since I have been here! (I penciled you in at the top of the list of course...lol).

As for the high number of views vs the low number of comments, I think some people don't think they have anything to offer. So, they choose not to comment. Not me, though! (I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing?)

I like the comments. It's like being in a slow motion chat room, you can leave and go to work and come back and catch up on everything that was said. Wait, that also describes a soap opera, which might be appropriate for this place too. Stay tuned tomorrow for the continuing adventures of "As the Blog Turns".

Have tongue, will use it. Repeatedly.

TDA...it's also a haven for all of us to SAFELY express and grow...to discover more about ourselves while learning about each other. All of us share in a common bond of discovery through this wonderful event called "Blogging". As Sister Sledge so aptly sang: "We Are Family!"

We look at the titles, and return for the content. As for posting comments, I agree with F&F, either the reader feels they have nothing to say, or are maybe intimidated by some of the truly snappy responses.

Madness takes its toll. Exact change please!

I've found myself ready to leave a comment only to discover at least one other person has already said what I planned to. Sometimes I say "Ditto what XXXX said," but most of the time I just don't leave a comment - who wants to be redundant?

Likewise...see the two comments above...and it's happened again! I start reading the comments, have a laugh, have a chuckle get ready to write my thing..but by the time I reach the end of the comments...pfffffft. Just got to get in quicker I guess!

TDA - You have the most interesting and creative blogs. I truley enjoy reading them. I think these blogs show a little bit about the person and what's in their head (or their sense of humor!). Comments? I think people comment when they have something to add or say about your topic or just want to communicate with the writer. It's pretty cool really - if you like to read books, you don't usually get to communicate with the author, at least not easily. The blog is an excellent form of communication between minds within a venue that allows all individuals to portray themselves without concern for the reader's reaction. But, really, it's just fun, too!

ya know, it's a good thing the title didn't mention a 12 inch cock because then I would have had to respond:

GOOD GRIEF! Get to the emergency room pronto! That's not a cock - that's a foot!

Mi I do the exact same thing. Sometimes a blog is so open ended that 100 comments would all be different and other times they're tighter and channel responses into one or two areas. LOL, for that very reason...I write crap. Lots of openings.

Agentease I think there is some form of AdultFriendFinder mind pickpocketing going on in here. The same happens to me. I hate it when I have a really creative comment and somebody already used it. I think from now on when that happens, I'm just going to answer in Chinese.

This is the very truth my friend, Im hungry for others Creativity, wanting to know their struggles of the day, maybe this one blogger can use my useless wisdom of the negative 3 doesnt have the square root 9 its not going to work with positve X, I mean who cares except that one blogger ! yet as you said we are BIG family on this sight in wich others would just look at us strange if they new we are on here, yet us- you and i are and so many other bloggers are very comfortable.

by the way youve been mentioned on my blog of Whose your celebrity ? couple of times.

One big SECRET family... and that adds some signicant pluses... not afraid to say what I am dealing with because I know I won't see pitying looks in the breakroom or hear whispers in the powder room... and there is the freedom also to ramble on in the attempt to figure out who I am and what I want to become with the plus of a comment here and there letting me know if I am at last making any sense... and reading other family members humor and pathos, to know I am not alone in any of my moods...

It's beyond me why there are some incredible posts with hundreds of views and only a few comments... I try to keep it in perspective for myself, I have a journal elsewhere that only records views and so here I try to be happy that I am being read and thankful for the comments given rather than regret what I didn't get to hear from one of the lurking readers...

Not all who wander are lost.

Flinkychick, I get frustrated by the lurkers too. Lurking turkeys...or Lurkey turkey...account for a jillion views and rarely a comment. I wonder if perhaps they aren't Lurkey Turkeys but maybe viewers from the outside the site that do not have the ability to comment.

You fit in well here. OK, everyone...sing along with me here...Flinky... Flinky... Everyone loves a Flinky!

Now that is a Flinky rhyme thing that I hadn't thought of, though sometimes I do go downstairs just like in the flinky commercial... and now the dog is under the bed again!

And thanks, it is not often that I find a place that is comfy, fun and find myself surrounded by friendship so soon, not virtually or in reality.

Maybe you are right about the lurkers being non members, and I am sure that a number of the views are peeps checking back to see if there has been any comments tossed back to them.

your comment to view ratio is about the same as most for this first page you have 1500-200 views and 15-20 comments from people and that in line with what most get percentage wise.

A lot of the comments come from the same smallish group which is interesting in its self. I have notices a few handles that read my blog every day but have never commented. I use to comment on my blog list reguardless of what people wrote but now I only comment on things that are comment worthy (LO somthing that takes my fancy.

Having said all that there is no formula its just whatever takes people at the time at least thats my assessment

Thank You for Your Time and Attention

I had one guy email me after reading my blog... or maybe he saw my profile, emailed, then went to my blog? had all sorts to say in private, but when i said "feel free to post it!" he said, "no, i wouldn't presume". i guess some ppl feel it's somehow intruding or their comments aren't welcome. i'm sure some of my comments are better left unposted, but i leave them anyways

Sexkitten that may be the case indeed. The rules in my blog are...there are no rules. We all have a point of view and that point of view is valid. I love hearing them, talking about them, and learning each other's personalities. This is the most significant benefit of blooging I think.
