Hurry Hurry Hurry ... HUGE Blogville Employee SALE

You just can't help but notice the employee bandwagon everyone seems to be jumping on. National car makers all having employee sales, smaller businesses doing the same, even fast food joints trying it out. Let's yak about this...shall we?

Let me get this straight, we all NEED to buy this particular make of auto...because we can get it for the same price as the employees. I don't know about you, but where I work...if I get the chance to sell something to certain employees they'd just as well bend over and grab their ankles! You think there's some good fuckin' in pornos? I'm guessing other places of business may do the same thing.

So, let me get this straighht one more time, I NEED to rush out and buy a car for the price some employee that everyone hates is going to get? Such a deal.

What was this ad agency thinking? Are consumers that gullible? Does this crap work? I guess it does...everyone seems to be using it. OK, what other businesses can benefit from an employee sale?

What about the Maytag repairman? That has to be an incredible sale...he's the only employee and we all know how lonely he is. He's gotta be giving stuff away.

OK, what about the chicken ranches in Nevada? Surely those ladies swap services don't they? And...I bet the DON't charge each other. Now that's what I'm talking about! There's a sale I like. Free. Wholesale is great...but you just can't beat free. Free hookers...OMG am I in heaven? Did the democrats get in? Whoa.

Hmm, employee sales.

Good Point about buying a car. People usually only buy vehicles when they need them. I have been looking for a new car, due to my accident I am in need of a car. I did buy one and not because of the Employee Discounts. I got a great deal because I had bought my previous car from them (the one I wrecked) and they know my parents. It just goes to show Employee Discounts don't count. It's who you know that counts!!

Their sales increased greatly and they got rid of their backlogs. But they killed the resale value of the cars, which hurts if you are oning rather than leasing these vehicles. The true cost of ownership includes the salvage value on resale.

I don't think I'm wanting the employee discount that the proctologist is willing to offer.

Minx it is indeed who you know. Also, who you've had sex with. If I ever need to buy anything from me...I'm getting a deal!

Mustang so true. Lower acquisition price always hurts in the end. Sorta like being a prison bitch.

Wise my son. Luke my rule of thumb has always been...never trust a proctologist with really big hands or a Polaroid around his neck. Just a little FYI

Uh.....hasn't anyone heard of marking up to mark down? I can almost guarentee you that this isn't the "deal" they make it out to be. Even if the "employee discount" was 50% off, they probably marked up the price of the merchandise by 100% anyhow. LOL

Jiggly I see. We have Bholes here and they're pretty bad. Can't imagine what the first string must be like.

Anemone verbosity killed the cat didn't it? I understand what you explained and thank you for the detail. HOWEVER...never forget...the average car dealer is a whore anyway. Most often they take ANY price to move it year around. Besides, there's still that hated employee I worry about.

Frisky of course I will. However, I must tell you that your client list will have only one name...mine. Hmmm, what to charge me? I'm thinking $40,000 a pop.
