Comfort Zone

We have been occupied with thoughts of swinging and having sex with other partners. It is more than just an occasional thought for the past two weeks. It is almost to the point of all consuming. We have decided that this is our new hobby, but if it continues, we should probably label it as our second occupation.

When we first decided to join the sight, we would talk about it with almost childlike excitement, in subdued tones, and somewhat guardedly (because it was new to us). We now are much more comfortable with the idea, our language is not as guarded, and our thoughts are more open and adventurous. We had the conversation today that we now look at people we see in public in a much different way with the question in mind..."Are they swingers". We have each had the thought that we may actually verbalize this question by accident and embarrass someone (if not ourselves).

You two sound so much like me and my wife it's scary. What's scarier still is that we too are in our 40's, and probably in your general scene (townie, alternative, know, the cool people, lol), and probably know or at least recognize each other. Hey it's still a pretty small town. We are so shy about things that my wife isn't even on here yet...she wanted me to join and check it out before I added her. We have flirted with this stuff a little before, and have met people hoping for a big time, but it never happened. No matter how you cut it, it's just a weird, nervousness-inducing thing to meet strangers out in public with at least the possibility of sex in the air. Anyway, I don't have a particular point to make, just wanted to say hi and let you know I thought your profile looked really good and genuine...and also that there are others like you out there in Athens.
