laugh, damn it.

I am funny. I really am. I have a quick wit and off the wall humor that keeps 'em laughing. So why the hell can't I be as funny here. It seems all ll I can write about is whining and sex (and coffee).

Maybe it's who I'm around that makes me funny. Without someone to physically project my funniness onto, I'm just the same old boring chick as that lady behind me in the grocery store.

But I'm not damn it. (rolling my eyes and snorting).

OK Haaaaaaaaaaaaa haaaaaaaaaaaa haaaaaaaaaaa

You're right, I think, Sweetie. It is tough to be funny in a vacuume. Good humor seems to feel off of itself; the comic gets a few chuckles, then a few laughs and soon you're rolling on the floor.

You likely can think funny thoughts, but you just don't have that reinforcement loop going to stoke you up to new heights.

Keep trying, though. You just could hit critical mass.

I doubt that you're the same as the woman behind you at the grocery - but does she look fimiliar from "Friends"? You just need a live audience for you humor.

Maybe you're trying to hard ? I find it easier to be funny on here because I just let the goofiness flow from my fingertips . Pressure is the quickest way I know to dim a bright spirit.
