romance

One interesting thing i have noticed as i get older is the lack of romance that women have experienced.
Now, I'm not the be-all, end-all of lovers, but i do like to get romantic...it really helps introduce feeling into night, which always helps things out, in my humble opinion.
My wife had never had a candlelit dinner....
never had a foot massage...
i have been with my, uh, Married-But-Not-To-Each-Other partner for a little bit now, and decided to introduce something other than the same old same old. don't get me wrong, it has never been hit and run between us, but things are to the point where we can have a little extra "ambience" without seeming cheesy.
Side thought.... I think i would be a bad hit and run lover...just like to touch too much. Thats not always a good thing, a good hard quicky is sometimes what the situation calls for.
anyway....
So, she came over and i had candles going and some Bill Withers in the Cd player. We hugged and kissed for a while, and i began slowly touching her body. running my fingers through her hair. and tilting her head up for a nice kiss. Slow. As far as i was concerned she was the only woman in the world at that moment.
So things escalated, and we wound up having some pretty intense sex. Come to find out afterward that she had never made love to candlelight and music.
Now, i KNOW im not the only person in the area who has ever done this, but its weird that just about every woman I've been with has never been touched slowly, or had "atmosphere" introduced into things.
I realize that there is a time and place for eveything, and like i admitted earlier...i dont think id be too good for a nice anonymous fuck.
Whats the point of this rambling? Nothing...thats why its rambling.
Has the hypocrite ever done romantic thing with his wife? Yes. She usually gets relaxed and falls asleep. Guess the honeymoon really IS over.
