dear diary................................

Well here I am at day 3 or 4, can't remember now which day this week I reactivated my membership and profile. I am keeping track of all the winks and emails I have sent to women I am interested in meeting. I don't expect miracles. But, I have been through this before and quit because I was getting no where and it was beginning to cost a lot of money. So, here I am again. Why? Mostly because I find this very entertaining, reading the profiles of women out there and looking around the site. Lately though, I have been wondering if any of these women really exist. Very few responses ever come through. Don't get me wrong, I am very pleased when I do get one. But, so few women ever reply with a wink or email, I wonder how many of the profiles out there are bogus. There are quite a number of websites out there that cater to the married but looking crowd. These are famous for bogus profiles. The unsuspecting males post their free profiles, and then are barraged with emails from women on the site asking for a reply. Of course you cannot reply unless you are a member. When you do sign up and reply, you never get a response. So, this brings me to my question for everyone. What has been your success rate at meeting someone off this site? How did it go? What about married women? Will they ever respond? So far 29 emails sent out, 1 AUTO reply! 36 Winks sent out, 1 wink sent. And only 6 profile views. Will update you all with what I find out early next week.

There is no question... this site is filled with "wanna be's" who can't be or do anything. Bogus profiles? Oh sure. Lots. But make no mistake, if you're in a big city location, the "good women", the ones that sound real and sincere, and maybe have an attractive photo, will be absolutely overwhelmed with offers. This can actually be too much for them to handle.

All I would really like is a polite "no thanks" in reply to my message. I usually write a very nice intro letter, and spend a decent amount of time on it because I've found something in common to talk about. So how hard is it to simply say, "hey thanks, but..."?

I feel your pain, dude. I'm trying to not sound so "desparate" myself. Lets just be patient.
