A little meat to the Sopranos

Finally, dealing with some critical issues, such as

the whacking of Adrianna

But first, where the hell did Kelly come from? All of a sudden she's pregnant and Chris is proposing to her? Never saw her before.

Tony and Chris have a moment of conviviality over stealing cases of wine from some schmucks, which leads to Tony pouring a glass of wine for Chris, who is supposed to be clean and sober (except for that recent trip to LA...). One glass leads to several more, and Chris and Tony are slobbering their drunken solidarity for each other.

Chris to Tony: "You always had my back." "...that day."

A totally compelling flashback of "that day" when Chris tells Tony that the Feds have had their hooks in Adrianna for at least a year. Chris begs Tony not to make him whack the woman he loves. (well-acted)

More on Adrianna: Adrianna's mother confronts Carmella over Adrianna's death. Carmella is confounded: "Adrianna disappeared and left Chris hanging!" But when Adrianna's mother talks about the Feds questioning her, it starts to sink into Carmella's awareness.

Carmella questions Tony. They've been having such a revitalized relationship since Tony's near demise, but now Carmella may be getting the creeps that the man she loves whacked Adrianna.

In the meantime, Chris marries Kelly in Vegas, they buy a house, and Chris starts shooting heroin again as a way to cope with the horrific loss of the love of his life.

Lots of additional action with the fair that Pauli hosts in conjunction with the Catholic church, the feast of St. Al-Jazeer (sorry, can't help myself, but I couldn't understand the saint's name and it sounded Arabic).

Pauli's scared about possible prostate cancer and goes running back to his ma, who he has previously shunned.

Not so many laughs, but I like the way the Adrianna issue is coming up.

Stay tuned.

Well, that settles it... I'm ready to rent those DVD's I saw last week... the complete series of this show. I don't get HBO, so I've never seen it, but I've always liked these kind of stories.

ditty,
not only where did kelly come from, when did Janice go through a nine month pregnancy and now the kid is walking? When things like that happen, I start to lose more respect for the story line if there is one now.

Adrianna: I thought that was her aunt, not her mother. I thought her mother looked more like Ade or Peg Bundy. I think they are going retro because there is no new stuff to talk about or are they putting Ade to rest so Chris can move on storywise.

Paulie: All I can say is HA. Everyone is having christlike symbolixm rain down on them now. Prostate cancer, modern day affliction. Good to see he went back to his "ma", but of course, he is in personal hell right now and needs someone and she was nice to him still.

The Priest: What a slime ball. I thought Paulie was going to punch him. Criminal element, ha, give me a break. Thief in a habit.

Carmela: She will forget the Ade thing just like she has everything else. tony gave a credible, though gap-riddled story she did not question.

Tony: I would have used Ade to get the FBI chick and put her down then wasted Ade.

Carnival incident: Underwhelming action, thought there would be a bearing of weapons, and possible discharge. Of course, Paulie skimped on insurance and safety.....what would you expect?

Al-Jazeera: heehee, ditty you've been watching too much CNN.

have a good day.

I have already purchased the early seasons and begun watching them with friends who have not seen them. It is a good experience. This season is below expectations. It is, however, getting better than the hospital scenes that really sucked.
