Taboo or not Taboo?

What is Taboo with you?

I was talking with a friend of mine this morning about "words". Words are funny, you know? Some words can instantly polarize an entire group of people.

For instance, I know I can mention one particular word right now that every, single, last woman reading this will have an opinion about - an instant knee-jerk opinion. They may like the word. They may absolutely abhor the word - but they will have an opinion. Do you already know which word it is?

I've had some women request me use this word during "dirty-talk" time. I've had some other women specifically tell me in no uncertain terms that no other word will get them out of the mood quicker than that one particular word.

Geez. It's just a word. What does it even mean? I don't get it. I don't even particularly like the word myself - mostly because it has no meaning in my vocabulary really ( and because I usually get in trouble if I mention it - not that I go around saying "( blank )" all day long ).

Do they have a problem with me using "slut" or "whore"? Noooooo... They request those words ( usually accompanied by some type of hair-pulling and butt-slapping ).

I just don't get it. What's the deal? Ya'll already know the word, right? Do I need to type it? Will everyone instantly run away when I do? I'm scared. I didn't call you a ( blank ). I didn't say someone else was a ( blank ). I just said the word ( well, not yet - can you blame me? ). It's just a word.

Somebody please help me with this one...

Do guys have a word we hate beyond all others? Do words mean more to women than guys? Surely not, right?

Oh, I should probably mention the word, huh? Do ya'll know pig-latin? Spell it backwards? Suck it up and "be a man" and type it?

( Deep Breaths )

Cunt.

I didn't want to make this a post about this one particular word, but that's what it has come down to - I had some other stuff to get to, perhaps another time.

Is there another word as controversial? I challenge you to tell it to me if there is.

What's the big deal?

Words are a big deal to women whereas to men it seems that actions matter more. But to use the word c**t is as derogatory to a woman as being called a ni**er by a white person is to a black person. Make sense??

Juicy

See? You can't even type it! Surely this is the most powerful word in the world, right?

I can understand the "N" word - and I wholeheartedly agree for the reason why that particular word is "taboo". Years of oppression, degredation, humiliation for an entire race of people labeled as that word - for no better reason than the color of their skin. It's a bad one - and one I won't ever use - not even playfully with a friend who is black.

It's nice to get people thinking and discussing from time to time - breaks up the monotony of me always annoying them... lol

It's just a word though... Surely I could never let someone speaking a demeaning word in my direction derail my own sense of self, right?

c u next tuesday also, i reckon...

I thought it over, I pondered it for a bit, I can't find a word that gets to me.
I LOVE the words CUNT and TWAT, I use the words CUNT or TWAT, if I don't call one person a day a CUNT or a TWAT, then I must be ill.
And for a more desired affect I tack the words Ignorant or Stupid on the front.
And yep today just 15 minutes ago the BITCH riding my ass became a STUPID FUCKING CUNT!

What better word than "cunt" to use when your balling up your fist to knock the hell out of someone?

Cunt is as bad as it gets for some reason. My vagina doesnt even like the word .

This word used to offend me deeply. Then I realized it isn't any better or worse than pussy. It all depends on how and why and when and where it's said.

It no longer bothers me.

In fact, I like to say it during sex just to freak guys out. My experience is they'll usually cum within 30 seconds. Especially if I say it more than once.

It's a body part. It's not a personality trait. The usage of it as such illuminates the ignorance of the one uttering it.

I think that maybe those of us who don't like the C word have heard it used in a demeaning way.... to deface or degrade a woman, and it was used as a name... I have never been called one to my face, but I'm sure my reaction would be one that could land me in jail!! lol... Interesting, though...

You've overcome the power the word had over you. Bravo. I just still don't get it. I've had more discussions even after posting this. It's fascinating.

For some it's erotic. For some it's disgusting. For some it's insulting. For some it's erotic that it is insulting.

But it's just a word. Words are tools we use. Can't be afraid of it - embrace it...lol

( Hmmm @ cums in 30 seconds - Wonders what is going on up there! Amazing things, I'm sure... )

( Note to Self - Don't use the "c" word with Cozy_Red - she won't lub me no mo'... )

All these rules - who to use it with - when to use it. Don't you dare use it. Please use it. OMG. TGIF! I need a weekend to ponder!
